Dr. Melissa Quinn, MD

Stay far away from this 'dr'. She took a biopsy of a very sensitive part of my body without numbing the area allowing me to SCREAM in pain. I can see that she took a chunk out of the area. When I called the next day, her 'nurse' discounted by procedure and my pain. It's insane that she caused the pain, then discounted it and won't help. She said I only had a little swab and it didn't hurt! 100% irreverence! Directed me to an emergency room and refused to give me anything for the pain. Let me be clear, I told them I'm not looking for narc narcotics. The nurse told me all pain killer are narcotics (lie) I just need some relief. They suggest 4 ibuprofen. I had already tried that, it didn't work. I was already in painful situation, which is why I agreed to see this person that I had familiarity. I only put one star because I had to put at least one to post and hopefully help other women to continue looking for a reputable OBGYN. There is a reason she's taking new patients!

She took a painful culture without any preventative for pain. It's the next day and I have called her office 4 times informing them I'm still in pain. Her recommendation was to take ibuprofen. I've taken 4 and I'm still in pain. She does not recognize or acknowledge my pain. I was very clear I do not want narcotics, but I do want to be out of pain. Do not see her! Clearly there's a reason she's accepting new patients!

I love Dr. Quinn. She was able to diagnose that I have cancer in time for me to have a very successful surgery. Her professional skills are impeccable and she really listens. It seems hard to find a doctor who cares but Dr. Quinn definitely does.

Dr. Quinn helped me through a very difficult time. As a doctor and woman, she is very understanding of my needs. I appreciate her patience and expert knowledge. She’s a great doctor. I also like Hill Country OB/GYN.

Dr. Quinn and Hill Country OB-GYN provide excellent care. The clinic on Brody has a very nice atmosphere. Dr. Quinn is very thorough and listens well. I highly recommend her and this practice.

The support staff was so great, but Dr. Quinn was unpleasant, egotistical and short. I will not be continuing care with her and I do not recommend her to others.

I didn't have a good experience with Dr. Quinn. After a biopsy (that was deemed likely unnecessary by 2nd and 3rd opinions) was never contacted, I checked back after almost a month for results. The person who read my result wasn't even clear what it meant but all I needed to hear was the word benign and I was done with them. My initial visit was discouraging as I left feeling ashamed and fearful. I am so happy I have since found a very seasoned, caring and extremely invested ob/gyn.

I would not recommend Dr. Quinn. When I received un-expected test results I got no follow up from her personally - at all. All I was given was a referral to a specialist from her staff, never an explanation from her of what my test results meant or what I should expect in terms of next steps. The office in general is also very disorganized with paperwork. Most of my information (including name, age, and consent forms) were filed incorrectly or were missing. Visiting the office was overall a very stressful experience.

I love dr. Quinn She has been with me thru 2 of my pregnancies. One of which resulted in a loss at 22 weeks. 2 months later we got pregnant and of course i stuck With her as my OB. No regrets. 37 weeks and i have No complaints!!

Dr. Quinn is all around awesome! She makes you feel so comfortable and she knows what she is doing! She is very kind and understanding with your thoughts, questions and concerns. You can trust that you are in great hands when you visit Dr. Quinn and her staff! If anyone ever asked me for recommendations for an OB/GYN, it will definitely be Dr. Quinn!
