Dr. Melissa Ratliff, MD

I have a complicated health history, beginning with an AVM Rupture and massive stroke in 2011. I started facing new challenges 2.5 years ago and embarked on an aggressive course of answer seeking. At this time I had to move to another state and selected Dr. Ratliff as my new PCP. She was immediately able to grasp the scope of the situation and dove into building on the foundation my former team built for me, and helped me strategize and implement a plan for next steps. She was the first Doc I secured in this city and I am SO happy with that choice. It was a BIG deal to leave the medical infrastructure I had worked on for over a decade while attending to a "developing situation". Dr. Ratliff hit the ground running.

Dr. Ratliff, is a wonderful Doctor. She I very thorough, very knowledgeable, and also very caring. She makes sure all your questions are answered. I am thankful for her!

Dr. Ratliff really cares about my health. She is the only doctor who I have found that has suggested that I try to reduce my medications instead of trying to fix everything with more medication. She truly believes in a healthy lifestyle.

I've been seeing Dr. Ratliff for a few years now after being diagnosed with rare conditions, I needed a doctor who would understand and help me navigate since my conditions doesnt fit in your "basic testing". Seeing over 50 or more doctors in 10 years you know when you have found a good doctor! Dr. Ratliff is the most compassionate person I've ever encountered in medicine. She takes time to listen, understand, and will do anything to help. I can't say enough good things about her and highly recommend her for your primary care provider!

Dr. Ratliff is a great listener and puts things together to find the reason for problems. She takes action and practices great follow-up.

I have never had a doctor spend so much getting to know me and my family. She went above and beyond to help or family get settled in our new environment. Great experience! Looking forward to working with Dr. Ratliff!

Dr. Ratliff has been my doctor for years now. She really listens and takes her time to understand and she supports overall wellness.

I have seen Dr Ratliff for many years and have found her compassionate, informative and responsive. She has seen me through many different health issues. I highly recommend!

Very good. Her practice now uses scribes which allows more direst time with doctor. Always timely with appointments and blood draws.

Does not seem to understand or empathize with patients. Very robotic in her interaction with me. After 4-5 visits I have not been able to connect with her. On top of all..she charged me $230+ for "outpatient services" during an annual checkup simply for recommending that I see an ortho after I told her my elbow has been hurting lately.

Don't wait until the last minute for a prescription refill or you're out of luck, it will take days! Even if it's important to not miss doses. No one returns calls to let you know what the status is. Would not recommend this place.

Dr Ratliff is excellent. I went to her for a few years and everything was fine. When I was diagnosed with cancer she was extremely compassionate and met with me for any reason. I have recommended her to several people.

Office wait exceeded 30 minutes. Doctor spent less than 20 minutes in the room during the yearly physical. Bedside manner was lacking. She didn't seem personable or that she cared about any issues stated.
