Dr. Melissa Sartin, MD

We had to call 911 for my husband after being home for 3 days after being hospitalized for nearly a month and a half. He could not stand up. He had suffered from, among a myriad of kidney issues and diabetic related issues, rhabdomyolysis. His muscles were deteriorated from this and atrophied from his stay. He also had other painful issues I had tried to help him, but it took 5 EMTs to lift him. Dr. Sartin must have thought he was alone, because my daughter was outside the room when she heard Dr. Sartin raising her voice at my husband because he was asking questions. She immediately backpedaled when we entered the room. She was yelling about how she had 40 other patients and now he wanted to change something. She wanted to send him home. He couldn't walk out of that ER if he had wanted to, and we would have loved to be able to leave. She hid behind the nurses and left. Nobody should ever be spoken to in that manner by a Doctor. Horrible and unprofessional.
