Walmart pharmacy in clinton, tn has been trying to get a prescription approval from Dr. Tharp for weeks now, for a script to be renewed/refilled and today 8/4/2024 the pharmacy says they have yet to have Dr. Tharpe call them back for approval. I ran out of this medication as of July 29th, 2024. Does she even work in the Clinton office anymore? The phone answering staff are very very difficult to get any information about contacting her, they put you on hold and 5 seconds later the line usually goes dead.

Saw Dr. Tharp for years, as did my family. She and her team dismissed my father's concerns that later turned out to be stage 4 cancer, were unhelpful with managing several chronic conditions, and made me feel like a drug-seeking nuisance as an adult with ADHD. Wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

We have been bringing our 95 year-old Mom here for over 10 years. The people here are the best. Their motto to treat others the way they want to be treated is truly practiced throughout the office. Dr. Tharpe really listens because she cares.

I've been with Summit Medical since 2007. Doctors have changed a couple times, due to reasons I'm unaware of. However, Dr. Melody Tharp is now my primary care physician & has been for the last 5 yrs or so. I am EXTREMELY pleased with her & love that she takes her time with me (I never feel as if I'm in an assembly line, like you do with some doctors). She is hard to set an appointment with but she is DEFINITELY worth the wait! Thanks Dr. Tharp for your ear & for the care you give to me & my kids

This Office is more like a Minute Clinic than a real doctor's office. I was a patient here for over one year and had never been able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Tharp...only nurse practitioners. It is against their policy to prescribe pain medications for ANY REASON. I have ruptured disk in my back, bone spurs, bulging disk have had 3 kidney stones while under their care. I had to see a specialist for pain medication.UNLESS YOUR'E JUST LOOKING FOR A FLU SHOOT, FIND ANOTHER DR.!!!!!
