This is one of the most caring, knowledgeable Physicians you could ever find. He was the pcp for my husband for many years and he was amazing. I have not been able to find a Doctor that understood people the way he does.

I have found Dr. Carter to be very thorough and to study my complex medical issues, adjusting medications and looking at the impact of my physical condition on my overall lifestyle. He has addressed concerns of my husband (skin lesions and cancers) that were mostly neglected by the VA system. Because of my improvement, my extended family has begun scheduling with him. If he is not immediately available, the physician assistant does an excellent job as well. I call to see if he's on schedule.

Dr. Carter is an amazing doctor. He takes the time needed to deal with my families health issues. Yes, we have to wait sometimes, but it is worth it, and we just plan ahead. He is an old school type doc, which we love, because he spends the time with us to get to the bottom of our concerns.

Took my son to dr. Carter when he was 3. After attempting to listen to my son's lungs for 30 seconds he diagnosed him with pneumonia. When asked if my son's lungs sounded that bad, he said that he didn't actually hear any pneumonia like sounds but that he had pneumonia. 6 years later my son is 9 and has stomach issues. Arrived five minutes before our appointment, and waited for an hour while he sat in the exam room next to ours listening to the life story of previous patient. Saw a different Dr.
