Rude and Unprofessional
Very rude and unprofessional. I took my mother-in-law there because of an eye tag she has had for 10 years. She does not like to go to doctors so it has taken a lot of time and persuasion to get her there. The first thing Dr. Gossman says when he sees her is, 'so your ready to get rid of that nasty thing on you eye?' This upset my wife (who was with her) and my mother-in-law. Dr. Gossman was also very sarcastic with my wife throughout the visit.

The absolute best surgeon in Louisville for eyes!!!! Always professional and honest. Friendly efficient staff that’s very knowledgeable. Clearly lays out what you need and what you don’t need, won’t do unnecessary cosmetic procedures on you to try and profit. That shows integrity in my book! Gives you thorough info packet on your procedure that thoroughly instructs you on what you can and cannot do before and walks you through what to expect pre operation, what will be done during operation, and how to care for your incisions and control pain effectively without narcotics!!! Just truly top notch, very impressed!!!! Love my results!

He was great! He answered any questions I had. Explained my procedure in language I could understand. Was very friendly & has a great bedside manner. His office staff are equally fantastic. His surgical asst. Kathy is wonderful! Very compassionate. The rest of the staff are also great. The help they give with paperwork/ insurance really makes an unpleasant situation tolerable. Dr. Gossman was quick to get the ball rolling with my unpleasant diagnosis and direct me to the path i needed to start treatments. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gossman is by far the best surgeon I have ever had!! I had severe eye trauma and had my original eye surgery with another surgeon. After 3 appointments they referred me to Dr. Gossman for an evaluation. When he first walked in I advised him of my concern and he agreed with me. He told me a plan and surgery date. From the initial visit I felt comfortable with him and his staff!! The morning after surgery I was able to open my eye, as to where I had the first surgery it took my eye a week to open. My eye has made more progress in a month of Dr. Gossman than it did in 3 months with the other provider! I am very satisfied and my results with Dr. Gossman and his staff and I would highly recommend them!!!

Dr. Gossman did a lower bleph surgery on me a few years ago. He took out too much fat. Because of it, my eyes look very hollow. Other doctors have told me that should not be done, to take out all the fat because hollowness will occur. When I discussed it with Dr. Gossman, he did not seem to know what I was talking about it. He said there is no such thing as leaving fat behind that you are to take it all out. He is an older doctor and does things the old way, probably needs to retire.

Dr. Gossman is simply the best! He made my husband and I feel like we were the only two people in the building. He was patient with our questions and most of all gave us options and assurances regarding my husband's diagnosis. Thyroid Eye Disease. Kathy his assistant is helpful, understanding and put us at ease. The entire office atmosphere is uplifting and most of all attentive to patient needs. Dr. Gossman soothed our worst fears. So thankful he is our physician.
