Rude and not helpful
I took my son to the INOVA Urgent Care in Fairfax because he hit his head while sledding. When I first entered the facility, the staff was very helpful and kind. They took all of our information and of course, our payment information. Dr. Porter came in for about 15 seconds and said we needed to go to the emergence room. My son had a simple concussion and she could have diagnosed him and sent us home. Instead we had to go to the ER, pay $1000 and wait for 3 hours. And then, they had the nerve to bill us and our insurance for absolutely NOTHING. They did not do anything but take our information. I will never return to that INOVA urgent care. The problem is INOVA owns everything and there not many other options.

I saw Dr Porter for a pre-op visit. She was very pleasant and very caring. She has quite a knowledge base across many medical disciplines. She communicates very well and made me feel quite comfortable. She seems to practice common sense medicine and has a terrific bedside manner.

Dr. Porter saw my nephew to treat an eye infection. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and most of all - seems to really care.

Visited for cough -diagnosed pneumonia immeduately, provided effective treatment-even in the check room with nebulazer and breath medication
