he's a scam!
I never see this guy when I was in Methodist hospital ER (I am SURE because the doctor I saw was a Asian guy), and he billed me $1273.98, and with only one bill sent to me, he quickly sent it to collection agencies. This guy is a scam!

surprise billing
If you ever go to Arcadia hospital you WILL receive a bill from Michael S Agron. This bill WILL be out of network and your insurance WILL NOT cover it. You WILL NOT SEE Michael S Agron only his bill. Michael S Agron is engaged in surprise billing, balance billing and barganing in poor faith to name a few of his misdeeds.

People Against Agron – Jan 04, 2023

Dr. Agron is a cheater
Absolutely the worst experience. An ER visit for my child at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia turned into a financial nightmare. Though the hospital is considered in-network the doctors at the ER somehow are not in-network. Dr. Agron billed an outrageous amount of money far beyond what the insurance would cover for even a preferred doctor. No one cared. Dr. Agron didn't even have the courtesy to bill me but instead sent the bill to collections before I ever even heard his name. Methodist hospital gave me a nice song and dance but in the end could care less leaving me with no reasonable choice but to pay the outrageous sum or let it consume me for the next year trying to fight. Dr Michael Agron is an awful man and his operation is an extortion racket. Methodist hospital is complicit in Dr. Michael Agron's extortion billing practices. There is no way to control this as you don't have a choice when your child needs the ER but his name should be synonymous with medical billing fraud.

Never seen this doctor in my life and did not even go to the said hospital and got a bill for $361.00 and the worse part is when you call the number on the bill they said I have to get in touch with the hospital of service ( Arcadia Methodist Hospital) as they're only a collection agency. I was able to speak with Brenda and was nice to send me an amended request for dispute after I emailed back the dispute letter. a certain Linda called me back after a few days and seem upset that I placed a dispute, she said I need to review the email they send me as to the service they did are breakdown for my visit before I can place my claim until today I have not received anything from ARCADIA METHODIST HOSPITAL for me to review but in return got another billing statement from this doctor again. I am being passed around and they're even upset that you're claiming. Can't even put a star .. .but it won't let me post without putting a star ... with a heavy heart ... I had to put in a 1 star.

I have been to this ER several times in the last few months for the same issue and I've been impressed with this facility each time. The doctors and nurses listen to their patients and treat accordingly. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable. I got my test results back quickly as well. I dislike needles and nurse Julissa did a wonderful job taking my blood. I didn't feel or hear anything. I would say she did the best job taking my blood than anyone else before. I would definitely recommend this facility and would definitely go back.

I visited the Arcadia Methodist Hospital Emergency Room because of my thumb dislocation. Since I don't have insurance, this doctor charged me $2000 for 10 minutes' treatment! And if I don't pay it, they will send it to collection. Disgusting! I don't understand they can charge whatever they want?

I visited the Arcadia Methodist Hospital Emergency Room because I was experiencing Covid-like symptoms. The treatment was fine, but the doctors -- who bill under Michael Agron MD Inc -- later sent a surprise bill that declined my insurance and charged me for different symptoms and treatment. This started a horrific process of battling Agron's customer service team for many months. The billing team was not interested in the actual treatment provided, but simply in extorting me for more money. Avoid Michael Agron and the Methodist Hospital Emergency Room in Arcadia if at all possible!

Avoid Agron and Arcadia Methodist Emergency – Dec 05, 2021

Same experience as the other 1-star reviews: billed $300+ even though I never saw this doctor. Insurance covered the rest of my visit to Arcadia Methodist, but this is a total scam. Wondering how the other victims were able to resolve their claims without it being sent to collections? ???????

Went in at 10:30am and the receptionists were very nice and professional. I was seen within 15 minutes. And 15 minutes later I was out with my prescription. Doctor was extremely nice and friendly. Also while I was waiting in the lobby one receptionist was calling back patients asking them how they were doing. Would definitely recommend.

I have never met this guy but received a $924 bill from him. Arcadia Methodist Hospital sent my X-rays to him and he sent me a bill and then sent it to collection after they agreed to drop the $924.00 charge. I looked through pages of this same scam plastered all over the internet. I have contacted the local News and will move forward with them as he has FAILED to make good on this.

Complete scam!!! Never saw the doctor but still got hit with a bill SEPARATE from the hospital bill from his office. I called his office and he explained to me that it was because he signed some paperwork for me, and that act of signing a form costed me $700. Either he is a celebrity or the man is a scam, make sure he is not your doctor.

I was seen by this doctor at whittier ER when suffering from kidney stone pain. My insurance covered the ER bill but this doctor billed me separately for $1200 because he was out of network. He spoke with me for 5 min tops. Never told me he was out of network. SCUM. He told me "Come back anytime you have pain again." Yeah right. Make sure to ask specifically for in-network doctor when in the ER.
