Great experience under Dr. Ahn’s care for pregnancy and delivery. I really appreciated how relaxed he was and helped put me at ease with a lot of my worries throughout pregnancy. He’s very grounded, knowledgeable, and thorough with follow up. He was also extremely patient and encouraging during my delivery. Delivering at hoboken university medical center was an overall great experience. Would definitely recommend Dr. Ahn and his team to expecting mothers!

Dr Ahn is awesome- professional, smart and efficient. He doesn’t keep you waiting at all, easy to make appointments and is super accommodating to your schedule. He’s been my doctor for four years and I recommend him to all my friends! Office is clean and staff is wonderful.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Ahn as my OB/Gyn after going through two other Carepoint Health doctors. Overall I had an excellent experience; he is very professional yet friendly, always honest and to the point about all the questions and concerns I had. Thanks to him I avoided elective C section. I have recommended Dr. Ahn to three other friends after my experience and they all love him.

Our OB/GYN Dr. Michael Ahn is a super star. Choosing him as our OB/GYN is one of the best decisions we have made in our lives. His entire staff at his office in Jersey City, are deserving of a special shout out. They were kind, caring, highly responsive, professional and supportive throughout the pregnancy. Overall, Dr Ahn and his office staff provided us with great care and exceptional support. We could not have dreamed of anything better. We STRONGLY recommend Dr Ahn!!A million thanks from us!

After seeing Dr. Ahn for YEARS, he suddenly did not accept my secondary insurance any longer (he still accepted primary) and I told him I would just pay the difference, and he told me I should just find another doctor. And I thought we had a great doctor patient relationship too. Also, filled out a lot of online reviews for him. Now I wonder why I bothered.

I had my second pregnancy appointments with this doctor. He was always in a rush and never took more than 2 minutes during the appointment. He always seemed as if he just wanted to continue on to the next person and never encouraged to ask any questions. He seems he has great knowledge but he lacks compassion. He is more concerned with getting things done rather than giving care to his patients. I would recommend doctor Fernandez who works in the same office instead of him

Dr. Ahn is too hurried for my liking. He does not communicate enough to put me at ease and you get the feeling when you're talking to him that he can't wait to move on to the next thing. For instance, during my annual pap last week, he did not let me know what he was about to do before he did it, leading me to feel pretty violated afterwards. Overall, Dr. Ahn is quick to shift blame or feign ignorance when he should own up and know more than the internet.

Dr. Ahn has amazing bedside manner. He has always been caring and open to any questions and concerns I or my husband have while pregnant. With a regular exam he is thorough and always makes time to discuss any possible issues or concerns I may have

Dr Ahn was my OBGYN last year when I was pregnant the first time with my son and we had an excellent experience. The reasons being - extremely organised practice, attention to patients, gives adequate time to answer all the questions, the pap smear test he conducted was as comfortable as it could get, punctual, very good staff(Yvette his assistant and Maria always remember patients and are helpful and prompt). We believe it was a wise decision to chose Dr. Ahn's practice for the pregnancy.

I visited two different Dr. before Dr.Ahn, and I was uncomfortable with their suggestions. Then I found Dr.Ahn, and I immediately liked him because he is good listener and got what you concern and want right away. His response was always quick, and care patient a lot. I was very happy he called and encouraged me on the phone the day before my surgery. He is very reliable and warm-hearted person. If he is not the best doctor, who can be the one? I don't think you can find anyone better than him.

He was my doctor for my first pregnancy. He didnt encourage any questions and asked me to google maternity related questions. Spent less than 2 mins in each appointment. Not helpful at all and ruined my first pregnancy experience.

Dr. Ahn followed my pregnancy and delivered my firstborn. He respected my informed decisions with regard to tests and procedures, helped me write and follow a birth plan accommodating my wishes and concerns, and stayed past the end of his shift to deliver my baby. Hospital staff at HUMC, from nurses to administrators, were competent and understanding. I had a smooth delivery and a very positive experience which is why I thoroughly recommend Dr. Ahn.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Ahn this week for an annual. I did have to wait about a month for an evening appointment, but I didn't find that very surprising, especially now having met Dr. Ahn. He was professional, made me feel totally comfortable, and was thorough in explaining procedure. His staff reflects these characteristics as well. Beautiful office, and easy parking! Fantastic experience, and trust me, that isn't something I ever planned to write/feel about an OBGYN appt :)

Dr Ahn is the best OBGYN one could get! He cares for the patient, explains all the procedures , listens to all your concerns and answers them patiently. He goes an extra mile to make sure the patient is doing fine. The office staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. My husband and I are very happy with the experience we had with Dr. Ahn and his practice. We would highly recommend him to all our friends.

The worst app I had. Took the doctor 4 minutes. The nurse wrote the repeat of all questions from form I filled before on the tiniest sticky note, no chart.Dr Ahn came and stated that he'll do breast exam and pap. He didn't asked me any questions or concerns. I had questions: when will test ready. He said to check in 4 weeks and explained that it takes takes 1-2 weeks, if I'd check and result is not ready - the doc will look bad. No followup scheduled, but billed extra compare to free annual.

Very dissatisfied with service!!!! After waiting for over a month for my appointment,it was cancelled 2 days before the date. Made another appointment for 3 weeks later, got another call cancelling appointment 2 days before appointment once again. I would not recommend this office, very unprofessional

I love Dr. Ahn and his practice! He has great bedside manner, he explains everything he's going to, his email so I could contact at him at anytime, and even a print out of some test results without my even requesting them. I'm a healthcare professional myself and I find these things to be a rarity among doctors. The brand new building is beautiful, right next to Newport Green Park & easy to find parking. I only have wonderful things to say about this practice!
