Dr. Michael Barger, MD

Dr.Barger, is a phenomenal doctor. He is the epitome of superb doctor, he’s compassionate, caring, kind, patient & very sensitive to his patients needs. He has integrity, he’s professional & does everything in his power to care for his patients with ultimate compassion. Dr.Barger has a great sense of humor & always positive at every appointment. I have been his patient for many, many years, he has been treating me for knee issues (sports injuries & arthritis) treating both knees with Supartz injections that are literally a Godsend. He will be retiring in May of 2022 & I am heartbroken, because there will be no one to fit the shoes of this GREAT(man)& doctor. Dr.Barger always listens intently to my medical concerns & always makes me feel that he sincerely cares about me as his patient. He’ easy to understand from a doctor/ patient perspective. I would have recommended him to anyone, but he’s retiring. He is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had in my life. Very sad to see him go. :(

Worth the wait !!! I feel truly blessed to have finally found a doctor that listens to the patient. Looks for answers not just “treat em’ and street em’” I travel over an hour each way because I can’t find a doctor that compares. I’m not pain free but life is manageable now. Thanks to Dr. Barger I can still work full time and raise my 2 grandsons. If I have to be sick at least I have him and his staff.

Waited 2 1/2hrs our first visit! His clinical evaluation was poor. His character was pleasant. He has a good reputation, but i honestly don't know why.

Dr. Barger is the BEST !! such an amazing physician I've ever dealt with for my health problems, He is extremely caring and thoughtful in making diagnoses. Dr Barger is the most helpful physician I've ever had; and given over 20 years of health problems, that's saying a lot! He is extremely intelligent and thoughtful in making diagnoses. He takes time to listen to the patient, and also to explain treatment options. He has a great sense of humor, which makes it easier to cope with health problems. I always leave my appointments feeling more optimistic than I had before the appointment. He has really helped me reclaim as much mobility as possible.

No other doctor diagnosed my rare autoimmune problems right until three years ago when I met Dr. Barger. He then started me on a medication protocol to bring my diseases under control for the first time since 1979! He is an amazing doctor. He spends as much time per visit as needed, so sometimes there are long waits in the reception area. All of his patients soon learn why and accommodate. His staff are the best!
