HORRIBLE
Let me start by saying how horrible this Dr and office is. My dad was told by Dr Bickerton he would need a permanent catheter and had been put on medication he did not need since he had a catheter in. he was getting dizzy all the time and. falling. my dad is 90. This dr kept telling my dad his numbers going up n up wasn’t an issue. now after several months he has retained so much urine in his bladder it cause temporary kidney failure and was al’s most sepsis. I was so disgusted i made an appt with a new Dr for second opinion and that dr diagnosed my dad with an infection that Dr Bickertons office didn’t bother to check for my dad was in so much pain all the did. was change his catheter. The new Dr said he had bad infection and was told he did NOT need permanent catheter. Do yourself a favor and get second opinion before settling for what this Dr tells you. I personally feel he does not do what is in the best interest of his patients.

My mom was assigned Bickerton in Riverview MC. His procedures included a biopsy of a tumor. He explained nothing and no follow occurred. She was not getting better & called the office. They said her follow-up visit wasn't until 2 weeks away. My mom requested another appointment. He reluctantly saw her again and put her through another procedure and biopsy. Both were negative. A second opinion confirmed that Bickerton did not accurately biopsy the area. He showed no interest & was dismissive

Before my appointment someone called me and talked me through the whole process. Dr Bickerton was great. He asked lots of questions, explained everything clearly, did a physical examination, all as expected. His staff were busy, but very efficient. I arrived at 9.27am and was walking out the door at 10.27 - and I was a new patient so they had to ask lots of questions and fill in lots of paperwork. Very satisfied with my experience and feel confident that I am in good hands.

Dr. Bickerton practices medicine on a laptop. He try's to send patients for treatment at facilities he has a financial interest in when there are facilities that do the same treatments much closer to his office. Office staff treats a person like a statistic. Office is run like a mass production mill. No, I would not recommend.

Don't waste your time scheduling an appointment with this practice. I had three appointments set up I waited over an hour and a half for each appointment still not to be seen and rescheduled each appointment. After the 4th time I left and will not return. When approaching the staff frustrated they're rude to you and expect you to sit there as long as it takes to see the doctor without any updates or informing you when you may be seen. In total I wasted 4 1/2 to 5 hours sitting in the lobby
