Dr. Michael Cattafesta, DDS

Dr. Cattafesta is excellent. He is very patient, communicates, explains and makes you feel like you're with someone who truly cares about you and your health. He doesn't mind taking his time when performing procedures. The hygienist is also a very lovely woman who is friendly, she explains every step of the procedure. They assistant (or resident not sure her role). Is very courteous and nice. MOST of the office staff is well-spoken, friendly and welcoming. However, they do need to work on communicating payments and letting the patients know when they are reaching their max or exact? costs and talking to patients about alternative dental plans to help cover the cost before setting up back to back appointments for treatment and care. It's? not the case (like most) where they are all about money but its the case where the front desk ?doesn't explain clearly about the payments and costs. The dentist team is a 5 STAR but the weak links, communication of some of the staff 1-2 STAR at best.

I had been putting off routine dental care for several reasons, one of which was fear. When I walked in to the office, I knew I made the right decision. Everyone was kind, patient, and gentle. I believe that Dr. Cattafesta and his staff truly care and I felt comfortable in their hands. I’m so glad I found this practice!

The most professional crew. I felt like family there and I dont like going to the dentist. Now I enjoy it.

The office is excellent! Clean, serene and courteous staff. Calming and attentive technician, something I value greatly because I hate going to the dentist. And Dr. Cattafesta himself has a pleasant and soothing demeanor that helps me cope with my dental anxiety. Couldn't recommend them highly enough, and now my entire family has been patients there for the last 2 years despite the drive (we live in Arlington).
