how to follow up 10 year colonoscopy today with Doctor Chase. As was the case the first time I had 110 years ago, his staff was very professional and extremely friendly. Doctor Chase came in before the procedure and explained everything very thoroughly. Procedure went well and subsequent to the procedure I was consulted with before discharge. Could not ask for a better doctor, better office crew in addition to an exceptional nursing staff. Highly recommend this practice.

On 10/18/23, Dr. Michael Chase did my colonoscopy. I believe I was given too much anesthesia. I also received very poor follow-up care. Staff brought me to the car in a wheelchair because I couldn't walk on my own. I went right to bed after getting home for about 3 hours. At home in the evening and morning after the procedure, I vomited and had nausea and headache. When I called the MD, he refused to see me and referred me to my primary care. They gave me a script but nausea & headache continued. On Sat. AM, 10/21, I called Dr Chase’s office. He was the physician on call that day. He did call back but once again refused to see me and told me to go to my primary care. They also got involved in the discussion of who should see me. He continued to refused to see me and referred me to the ER, where I ended up for more meds along with IV fluids. No matter what my symptoms, I will NEVER have another procedure done at Gastroenterology Associates.

Best doctor I’ve seen in a long time! Exceptional skills. Pretty much saved my life. Saved me from be butchered at St. Peter’s again. Lois was so diligent spending hours on hold to get insurance approval for my surgery.

Dr. Chase is great- the nursing staff at the center were great. The scheduling staff is really challenging. You can't get to a human; you leave voicemails, (multiple) and when you finally get a call back, you may not be there. That's an issue that should be addressed, as it shouldn't be that complicated to get to speak with a human being. Otherwise the office is great.

Unfortunately, my experience has been the same of many who write. I actually liked Dr Chase but it is impossible to communicate with the front office. IF I get a return call, it doesn't address what I was calling about. I'm giving up in frustration.

STAY CLEAR of this office. This practice is an example of a city without any competition for this specialty.

Unable to get appointment with Dr Chase even though he has done my colonoscopy 2x in past 15yrs. His nurse Lois finally calls back with Drs suggestion for treatment even though he has never seen me for current problem. I will be contacting my insurance company tomorrow to make sure he his not billing me. He is no longer my doctor.

Originally scheduled 3 months out, health worsened they scheduled I month out. When finally saw him he asked several questions, did no exam, only listened to heart. Was pushed out door and told if condition persisted/worsened to call in (after being sick almost year) . Called last Monday and Tuesday, no response. Called 3x's yesterday, finally got call back, attitude and rudeness from nurse, Louise. Expected call back after told she would get recommendation, never heard back. RIDICULOUS!

I have left two messages on the voicemail of his assistant, the first one was two weeks ago & another one earlier today, and still have not heard back from the office. I received a letter from them to call & set up my colonoscopy & can't even make the appointment. This is very frustrating and I really like Dr. Chase!
