My old Dr said I’d never walk. I can walk & run!
Dr. Cushner never gave up on me and I am walking and can run in an emergencies. This Man has experience and knowledge that you need a doctor to own. My mom’s doctor told me I’ll never walk again. Dr Cushner proved to me I would and did. I began to fall for no reason a few years later. Dr Cushner took pictures in my knees and referred me to neurology. I’m now on Parkinson’s meds. I’m living my best possible. Dr Cushner treats you as an individual. And Westmed, Summit health, Village MD were foolish to let him leave Westmed. They broke my heart. If anything ever happens to my daughter or my Mom I will find Dr Cushner to save them. I literally love this Man and his wife and I don’t know her but God bless his family his college his community etc. this is a quality doctor That I trust. He didn’t just do a knee replacement or unneeded surgery. He told me to get a neurologist That he saw no issue that was orthopedic and now I’m living the best life I possibly can

Great surgeon with an outstanding aftercare
It’s been over 10 years since I experienced an on-the-job injury. At that time Dr Cushner performed a very extensive surgery on my shoulder (which was very successful). The care I’ve received from him over the years (since then) has been nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Cushner’s care goes far beyond what you would expect from an Orthopedist. He treats me as a a person, remembering personal aspects and instances (even remembering my children’s names). His bedside manner is compassionate (never rushed). Moreover any need for medical documentation has been done and delivered to me with the upmost urgency. If you need an Orthopedic surgeon you can rest assured that Dr Cushner is the very best one available anywhere.

One two three and appointment is over
Myself and a family member have had the same experience. Very brieft time spent with the patient-if any at all- sometimes it's just the physician assistant. Does not explain conditions at all.

Top Doc All The Way!
As a patient for years, and also as a retired registered nurse, I unequivocally rate Dr. Michael Cushner as a solid 5. He is reassuring, kind, professional, brilliant and compassionate. You have a treatment plan he approves of every single time you leave his office. So I speak as a health professional and overall as a patient who was 'healed' by this man. I am still in need of services as my arthritis is chronic and at my age, I get to have a better quality of life with Dr. Cushner. I am truly honored to be his patient.

Dr Cushner excellent surgeon!!
Dr Cushner, Repaired a torn meniscus in my knee about 6 years ago and carpal tunnel on March 6th. Both times he made sure to see me when I woke up from anesthesia and went over everything on how surgery went. His team are just excellent and very pleasant! Wait time is the only thing that can be a little frustrating but it just goes to show how great of a doctor he is! I would recommend him 1000%

Arrogant and Entitled
Experience and knowledge should not supersede COMMON COURTESY! Dr Cushner is an arrogant man with a “God complex” and no respect for time! Excuses in time management and scheduling left me disappointed and in search of another Orthopedic doctor!

Dr Cushner is excellent and my surgery went well. I am on my road to recovery. But..if you are trying to do workman's comp or anything that requires dr to fill out forms or send copies of your records, like an insurance company, then have a seat and wait. The staff here is quick to call back and tell you it takes at least 10 business days for them to respond to requests. This can be a challenge since everything is time sensitive. You don't understand the kind of stress I feel everytime I need them to fill out forms for me, or the desperation when I don't get a paycheck because the forms were not received in time by my job site. I think if you accept workman's comp cases, the staff should be a little more helpful towards the patients that rely on their help.

What a pleasure to visit Dr. Cushner and his team at Ridge Hill. It starts with the first call to customer service and the fact that you can speak to someone in just seconds. Each staff member at Ridge Hill is professional and kind and very caring and welcoming. And Dr. Cushner! What a professional, kind, knowledgeable doctor so ready, willing and able to get to the root of the problem. I have had chronic pain in my shoulder for the last few years and Dr. Cushner takes such care of me.

I never got to see the doctor, only the physicians assistants. Who were very nice, but I would have liked to see the doctor. I didn't even get to see the same PA twice. The only person who was truly fantastic was the nurse who brought me in. Otherwise it felt like a factory.

Dr. Cushner has been my doctor for the last ten years. He first operated my left knee 0n 06/2005, not only did he explained the whole procedure but he was the first face I saw when I woke up from the anesthesia. Few years later he operated me on my right wrist. Again he was very explanatory during the process and was waiting for me to wake up from the anesthesia, to explain what I'm feeling and what will I be feeling in the next few days. That to me was huge to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Cushner, I had an old shoulder injury that needed extensive surgery and rehabilitation. He explained the procedure and the rehab and was with me during the process. I was able to reach in by phone and email and had a good experience with the physician assistants that helped him. I can not thank him enough. I have a number of friends and family that also have seen him, some requiring surgery some not, all very happy

If I was able to give zero stars I would.I had rotator cuff repair done to my shoulder in April only to experience constant pain and telling Dr. Cushner. He just said to continue with physical therapy and Cortizone.it never relented and now eight months later with the help of another surgeon and he showed me that the anchor that Dr. C. put into my shoulder got loose and was floating on top of the shoulder ripping open the rotator cuff again. Dr C. Post Op will Not be available to you. Run!!!!!
