Dr. Michael Degen, MD

This doctor is great, He operated on my stones and provided excellent after care. He is very knowledgeable askes questions and listens to your concerns. I had just met him in the ER and he treated me as I was a life long patient. Cannot say enough about his assistant Christine, she has gone above and beyond in helping navigate all aspects of the after care maze. She is always willing to help with any issue.

I was very pleased with Dr. Degen's knowledge and patience in addressing my issues during a scheduled appointment, however, I recently had an unexpected problem, November 5th and for two days I did not get a response from his staff. When I finally did get a response, I was instructed to go to an Urgent Care Center. I am an established patient, going back over five years ago, when Dr. Stifelman did kidney surgery on me, and then referred me to Dr. Degen last year, so to be treated that way is troublesome and unprofessional.

I agree in reference to the office. On several occations I have had to drive 30 minutes to their office because I could not contact the office. However, the doctors are excellent. I am lucky to have this level of care.

I hesitated to write this review since it is very repetitive of other reviews regarding the extremely poor support in the office. You can easily spend close to an hour on hold, any day of the week trying to speak to someone. My insurance company cannot reach them by phone and gets no response to faxes. I called the hospital directly, they tried every contact number they had for the Urology practice and could not reach anyone. The hospital is aware of the extremely negative reviews, no correction

Dr. Degen Is Great ! very friendly and professional. He was thorough with His exam and he answered all my questions. I Highly recommend Him!

This guy is simply fantastic. He is very smart and observant and asks questions I never thought would be asked. A true rarity in this day and age, a man that has a skill, and the time to answer every question I had. If only every specialist I have seen over the past few years had his "bedside manners", I wouldn't loathe going to the doctor, as I always do these days. In a word, INCREDIBLE, and if you want class and ability, choosing this fine young man, is a NO-BRAINER. A truly 6 STAR Doctor.
