Dr. Michael Dillehay, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Dillehay’s office for a few years and have been very happy with my care. The staff are courteous, and do a good job of keeping things in order which can be difficult to find at medical practices. Dr. Dillehay listens with compassion. When I ask a question, he answers me with honesty and humility by admitting when something is best handled by a specialist. He has been very helpful in my health journey and I’m so glad I found this practice.

Great atmosphere and understands my needs. Gregory is great at being personable and making the visits light and fun.

Moved to Florida recently and my wife and I have been on same medication for last 5 years. The Nurse Practitioner didn’t ever send the authorization to the right place and kept getting denied. After going more than a month without our meds, I sent a phone number to the Dr office they could call to finally get our meds authorized and instead my wife is called by the Dr’s wife and told they will not do anything else to help us get our meds and was very accusatory and judging to my wife. Most uncaring and judgemental people I’ve ever met.

Been seeing him for years. Controls my blood pressure perfectly with both prescription and natural means. Tells me the truth and gives me good suggestions for improving my life. Doctor who's like a friend.

I was very satisfied with my visit to the Lake Mary Family Carr. My experience here was far beyond better than any other care places I've been to. The whole staff was professional and knowledgeable yet kind and caring. You really feel like you are in safe hands with every step of the process. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a new care place to go to.

I work in the medical field & actually choose Dr. Dillehay as my PCP after years of observing him with his patients & families. His compassion & caring for his patients & empathy for the families is evident in every interaction. From my 1st appt to every one since, he always comes in, sits & listens to what is going on without making me feel rushed. I recommend Dr. Dillehay to anyone looking for a caring, invested PCP!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dillehay's since 2004. He also treated my wife,during the hard parts of her life, he showed care and compassion in all of her needs. As a retired Chief Hospital Corpsman I have great respect for Dr Dillehay and his staff.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Dillehay for about 7 years and he has been so good with us he listens to what we have to say and he has helped me so much though a really bad time when I was hit by a car. He is a great doctor thanks Doc for all you do for us

Great doctor and office. I spent six months at specialists and continued to decline. Dr. Dillehay looked at me from the big picture and LISTENED. He spends quality time with me and has helped me to start on my way to recovery. I feel beyond grateful to have him as my doctor. The office is very responsive and overall great people. Thank you Dr. Dillehay for all you have done for me as your patient - you've given me back a peace of my old life.

Find another Dr. Decided @ end of first appt, that I would not be returning. 4xs I requested staff to email the patient profile. Never came. At appt, took an hour+ to fill out and I arrived 45 minutes early. Med equipment: outdated. Staff appearance and demeanor: not professional . Dr altered meds w/o initial lab results. Then top it off, I receive a $60 for an appt they say I missed. DEFINITELY, won't be back. I won't be back. Met a former employee of his. They agree with me.

I cancelled an appointment in November with Dr. Dillehay because I would be out of town and said I would reschedule after the holidays. It totally skipped my mind until my pharmacist contacted them to refill my BP medicine. They refused. I made the earliest appt. I could (20 days out), but Dr. Dillehay REFUSED to refill my prescription though I had one pill left. My wife even went by the office to plead with them. He still refused, all because I had cancelled an appointment.

Dr Dillehay is a poor excuse for "health provider"...makes me feel like I'm bothering him. Does not listen, has new staff every year and DOES NOT RESPOND to calls, faxed prescriptions and makes me feel like a 2year old. I am his age. I am looking for new Dr. Immediately! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had with a medical "professional". Would not write a referral I needed that was requested by another doctor. Made me go into the office for the referral when he couldn't perform the exam I needed (obviously just interested in the money). Agreed to send over the referral to my other doctor. I showed up to my other doctor, referral never got sent, referral coordinator unavailable. I had to take off work for all of this, wasting my time considerably.

After about fives years I felt this ugh, entirely new staff and felt like I was getting the run around. Has to be another way, Changed providers?? My appoint changed three times in the last 24 hours and couldn't get anyone to answer phone. Smh

Get nothing but the runaround from this office -- that is, of course, IF you can even get anyone to answer the phone!!!! Will not return.
