Caring and Professional
I reached out to Dr. Eilerman after a recommendation from a friend. He got me in quickly, diagnosed my hip, and scheduled my hip replacement surgery. Every one on the staff were top notch and their facility is spacious and clean. I'm so glad I called. Thank you! Highly recommend!

My life had become so filled with pain and suffering from both hips grinding. From fear of surgery I had put it off so long I was no longer walking upright. After looking at Drs and talking to people that had hip replacement surgery, I chose Dr Eilerman to perform my bi-lateral surgery. Yes both at same time. Although I had to follow His recommendations prior to surgery, I was a candidate for both. I walked in the hospital at 8am that morning and out that evening at 8pm. Now it has been several months and from day one I have only had mild soreness in my upper legs. This has truly been a miracle!! Dr Eilerman is definitely one of the top Surgeons for hip replacements. Every aspect of the entire procedure was just perfect. He has changed my life and once again my outlook is broad. Thank you with all of my heart Dr Eilerman. I don’t have the words. So I give you an A++++

Worst communication ever
Office staff and MA's are obviously not trained properly. Made an appointment only to be changed the day before. Then when I did arrive at my appointment was left waiting to be seen over 50 minutes. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional! Office manager is not intersted in resolving this issue and looks like the doctor is really not interested in his patients either.

Entire Hip Replacement Process Outstanding
I had been seeing another doctor for years about my hip. When it came time for the surgery, I could barely walk, but this doctor had wanted me to lose 20 pounds. I managed to lose more than 10 after his office assistant sent me to a 12 week Little Clinic Program at Kroger's, but could lose no more - I was still way overweight at 207 pounds (5'4" female 57 years), but my hip was giving out fast. I decided to change doctors, saw Dr. Eilerman and he did one x-ray during my first visit, walked in with it and said I needed surgery right away - and gave me 4 dates in the next month to choose from. He said I had about a cm ground off the ball of the joint! I was thrilled, and the whole process from that first visit until the end was so much better than I would have ever expected. I appreciated the lower body block option, so no full anesthesia/"going under" needed. I am so happy I can walk again!

Twice Pleased
Dr Eilerman has successfully replace both my hips. The first one was over 6 years ago, the second one 3 month months ago. Dr Eilerman quickly identified my problem both times and was able to timely perform surgeries for me. My recovery on both surgeries has been smooth and quick. I highly recommend Dr Eilerman. He was highly recommended to me by several of his happy patients!

Fantastic Hip Replacement
Dr. Eilerman recently replaced my right hip and the results were fantastic. Dr. Eilerman and his team did a fabulous job from the pre-surgery preparations, the surgery itself, and the post surgery care. After 4 to 5 weeks I had only a small amount of soreness and now at 2 months I have no pain and have already played two rounds of golf without any hip pain. Dr. Eilerman also got my leg length correct which was a worry of mine. Highly recommend Dr. Eilerman and his team!

Excellent surgeon, highly recommend
Dr. Eilerman performed left hip replacement surgery on me in mid March of 2022. He fully explained the surgery, potential complications and recovery. I was on pain medication for 3 days and then over the counter medication after that. I made sure to follow his after care instructions and am pain free and walking normal 7 weeks after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Eilerman if you need any type of hip surgery.

We would highly recommend Dr. Michael Eilerman! He has performed 4 joint replacements on my family (including me). All of our surgeries have had excellent outcomes He is very professional and friendly, great bedside manner, will give you treatment options but will also be honest with his recommendations for you. We have recommended him to others and they have also been very pleased with him. If you need a hip or knee replacement Dr. Eilerman is the surgeon to see! My husband and I were both volunteers at UTMC for about 10 years. Whenever we would see him in the corridors he would always acknowledge and speak to us and even stop for a little conversation when not time permitted and NOT ALL doctors do that. He sure made us feel good!!

my last visit he was upset that my back surgery and later an epidural did not stop the pain in my hip. That's because the pain was not being caused by my back. My last visit to him was January 2021. I've been going back to him occasionally since my hip replacement surgery 3 years ago. Not once has he said we are going to do whatever it takes to find what is causing the pain. My last visit he upset me because he pressed on me a couple of places then handed me my discharge paper for my visit and started walking out of the exam room. He hesitated at the door and this is exactly what he said, "I don't know what to tell you, I don't know what to do". That didn't sound very professional to me. I don't plan to visit him again so I'll just have to live with the pain or find another physician.

Dr. Eilerman completed a Left Anterior Total Hip Replacement for me. With the exception of minimal healing pain, pain free at the joint for the first time in over 2 years and returning to work in a little over 5 weeks in a Rehab position job. Very happy! Best decision I’ve made. Awesome doctor!

Dr. Michael Eilerman is the best!! Dr. Eilerman was the surgeon when I received a complete new left hip September 17, 2018. The date will always be important since the horrible hip pain ended the day Dr. Eilerman operated on me at U. T. Hospital. I've never experienced any problems after the surgery. He is absolutely outstanding!! Thank God for Dr. Eilerman.
