“First off, I have never felt better and more alive. After 45 years of gradually worsening knee pain, I finally feel like I have my life back. I was shaky and unsure at first when Dr. Espiritu mentioned ‘knee replacement’, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it was the right decision. I had my surgery at the Dunes Surgical Hospital and all pre and post appointments at CNOS and let me tell you- those facilities are like a country club! The staff was just wonderful and I have never felt more supported within a medical community. Dr. Espiritu was a life saver and he deserves so much credit for his care and service. His whole demeaner is very reserved and calm and confident, but that is what you need as you go into such a serious surgery. Dr. Espiritu performed spine surgery (sciatic nerve) on me in October of 2015, with excellent results. I have both scoliosis and stenosis. Lower back pain is making it very difficult to walk and I would like to remain as active as possible. Dr. Espiritu is not ready to jump ahead to more surgery just yet; he is very knowledgeable and deliberate. I was happy that we are taking the time to do various testing and diagnostics which we hope will give us some answers.

Dr Espiritu is not only an amazing Doctor but Overall a great caring individual . He takes time to explain the procedure and does so in an honest open manner. All surgeries have risks but he puts you at ease with his self confidence and demeanor . He has given myself Quality of Life back.

I was in so much pain from my back it was causing an aching pain in my legs, making it difficult to walk. I was referred to Dr. Espiritu and he was able to diagnose my problem and propose a solution. Having taken blood thinners for a while, I was very nervous to have surgery for fear of a blood clot. Dr. Espiritu had a plan before surgery to allieviate issues. He described the plan and I felt informed and confident in my procedure. Dr Espiritu is a great !

I think Dr Espiritu needs to work on his people skills, listening skills and treat his patients like the people they are, not just a file or number. He spent less then 15 minutes telling me what he thought was wrong, disregarded everything I said, then turned and walked to the door while I was still talking, finished up his diagnosis with his hand on the door knob. You would think as a Dr he could at least try to show some interest and caring..that's his job..right?

He really cares about your health and seems to take the time to listen to what you have to say as a patient. His quality and knowledge have been excellent as well, all around a true professional.

I explained my pain was in my shoulder and neck when I scheduled my appointment. They made me an appointment with Dr. Espiritu. They only x-rayed my neck, he spent all of 2 minutes with me, and sent me to physical therapy for 6 weeks. The therapy group is part of their practice. The therapy was complete waste of time. Most of my time was spent listening to the therapist gossip. I found another orthopedist, and had my problem resolved. Skip this place, which is just an insurance scam.
