Poor Physician Clinically and No Bedside Manner
Poor Bedside MannerAfter waiting 5 plus hours in the ER this Dr. spent all of maybe one minute talking to me. Did not listen to history or explain lab results. He actually suggested I come back the following day (so I could wait 5 more hours)? and ask for imaging. Flung door and mumbled rude sentiments all the way down the hallway. This is the second time we have encountered this man, rude both times. He should not be a practicing Physician and gives St. Luke?s a bad name. By the looks of it several others feel the same. If I could give zero stars I would.

Would not recommend to anyone.
I came in with what I thought was possibly a blood clot in my leg. He sent me up for a scan without ever touching me. He asked me where I felt the pain and I had to show him. When I got back to the emergency room he came in and said it was varicose veins (which I knew I had) and said he was signing my release and left the room before I could ask him any further questions. I felt he thought I was bothering him and wasting his time. He has no business being an ER doctor. No compassion and no bed side manners. St. Luke’s needs to remove him.

Horrible
Rude, dismissive and wouldn't answer questions. It seemed he didn't want to be there. I've never had such a poor experience from a doctor in my life.

Positive Experience
Breaking a toe at 3 a.m. is not fun. Dr. Fritsche was fantastic. Following a quick visit to medical imaging I was seen immediately by doctor. My toe was at a 90 degree angle. Ouch! He was very professional and quickly 'set' it. VERY pleased with Dr. Fritsche and the entire ER team.

I saw Dr. Fritche DO at St. Luke's emergency room with abnormal vital signs, weakness, diarrhea, nausea, and shortness of breath. He never once used medical instruments to examine any part of my body, including listening to my lungs and heart!!!!!!.. I got my record and on the physical exam results, he lied about everything. I am a nurse, and I told 2 other doctors, and another nurse. Of course I was hospitalized 3 days later with pneumonia, and again a few days later
