The doctor is great and is a personal friend from way back. However I've been trying for a while to leave a message to him and yet the very rude receptionist refuses to put me through (when I come into town I will be telling him all about it). In fact I'm sure his low rating is due to the negative impact she has had on "his" office as she acts like she owns the place and any positive comments here I believe are fake made from her)!

My fiancé Rick was coming into this office as a new patient. (He wanted to make DR.Gambel his primary doctor) Nikki or Nicole, whatever her name is- told him that his insurance (UHC) couldn't be verified & that is wasn't active which is BS. He waited 4 DAYS to see this doctor & was VERY sick. He had no choice but to go to urgent care, & they verified his insurance with NO problem. Rick left a message for an office manager to call him back & never heard anything, and it's been 18 days now.

I've been to this office 4 times. On 3 of these visits, I was in the office over 3 HOURS! I made my appointment w/Dr.Gambel (I confirmed this when I made it) & when I arrived I was told my appointment was with Chelsea- who isn't even a doctor! The office manager Nikki was VERY rude to me about it, & SHE was the one I made my appointment with! I didn't have a 'card' showing anything. I don't know why she is running this office, she clearly has NO idea what she is doing! I won't be back!

I love it here. All of the staff, aside for one or two people, are nothing but polite and friendly. And Nikki is my favorite person here. I've seen her take some abuse from angry patients, and sit on the phone for 20 minutes trying to explain something to someone even though she has tons of work to do. The people who called her rude are probably the kind of people that treat employees like dirt and think they should have to just sit and take it.

I have been going to Dr.Gambel for 8 years, and he is an excellent doctor. Sometimes you wait a little longer than other offices, BUT that is because Dr.Gambel takes his time with ALL his patients. He listens to your concerns and questions, and takes the time to answer them. He is compassionate and honest. He also helps with addiction. If you or someone you love has an addiction Dr.Gambel will go above and beyond to help them. I trust him 100%.

I have to say that I had a horrible experience with Nicole (Nikki) the office manager as well. She was rude to me, AND my husband as well. There was a mix up with our insurance (HER mistake) she said she doesn't have the time to try and figure out the issue. I tried to ask a question, she said there was nothing more that she could do- then she HUNG UP on me. The sad thing is- I love Dr.Gambel, he's a great doctor, but I REFUSE to go back to that office and deal with Nikki.

In December I was coming in as a new patient. I left a message & never received a call back. A week later I left another message. After 20 days, I decided to stop in the office & see if I could talk to someone. A woman named Nikki was very rude to me & said I needed to call in & leave a message to come in as a new patient. I told her that I’d left 2 messages in the past 20 days & no one has called me. She flat out called me a liar to my face.! VERY rude & horrible attitude! Stay away!

I feel so much better reading that Nikki was VERY RUDE to them as well - and that is just SAD. She is a horrible office manager. My story is too long to tell BUT it is very similar to the last review. She tried telling me the paperwork wasn’t in order from Blue Cross & it was! Horrible, nasty and RUDE. No apologies for her mistakes either! I walked out of the office in tears. Someone needs to send these reviews to DR. Gamble because she is hurting HIS practice!

My review is based solely on the treatment by the "Office Manager" Nicole. To say she is rude is an understatement. She turned away my sister for treatment today because her paperwork wasn't in order, when in fact a call to Blue Cross indicated that all her paperwork was in fact in order and the office failed to update their records. NIcole needs to find a new job because she sucks at this one. And by reading the rest of the reviews about her, I guess just validates my point.. 0 stars!

NIKKI AND CINDY ARE BEYOUND THE MOST RUDE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS these people are as dumb as a box of rocks, they don't know how to verify insurance; make an appointment, etc. Very simple tasks for office management. The staff takes advantage of the Doctor (CLEAN HOUSE) start fresh with staff that is better. These people just want to sit around and eat food all day from the lunch card from the Dr.!! Ignorant

I did call to make my son first time appointment and the staff specially Nicole is super rude do not have manners at all she do not know how to treat first time appointments when she finally answer the phone after 3 days trying to make an appointment leave a message never got call back she is super rude and her voicemail it is not update message you heard from her she wont be at the office until may 3 , i am not taking my kid to this place at all i am switching doctors office rude staff.

He is a nice doctor who is very compassionate! Too bad his front office staff is HORRIBLE, RUDE, AND VERY AWFUL! They need to go back to the sewers they came from! You call a patient in to be seen for emergent lab results, CANNOT VERIFY THE INSURANCE CAUSE YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOUNG AS EVERY TIME I CALL I HAVE NO ISSUES, SO YOU REFUSE TO SEE THIS PATIENT EVRY TIME HE COMES AFTER HE HAS MOVED MOUNTAINS TO GET A RIDE! This is disgraceful and disgusting! No wonder his BP goes up!!

Dr. Gambel is great, very understanding and attentive, most of his staff is great, but there are a couple staff members that are just plain rude and judgemental. Watch out for Cindy, she will treat you however she pleases. So if you catch her in a bad mood be prepared to be treated you're beneath her! I'm sorry if doctors or staff have an issue with you or why you are there, but you are a customer and they should be nothing but courteous and polite if they want your business.

Dr. Gambel is one awesome dr. he saved my right leg. i had a dvt and didnt know it and i called his office just at closing time and asked what was wrong i gave him the symptoms and he said get to office and i will look at it right away. no sooner he saw it he made sure that i was sent to hospital right away for my right leg had already turned funny colors. thanks to this wonderful and very smart dr i still have my right leg. if he knows any other doctors just like him he needs to send them to mo

Dr. Gambel was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. He took time to explain everything in terms I could understand. Very nice doctor as well as his staff. Getting an appointment was easy and the process was smooth. I would recommend him for sure.
