Dr. Michael Gesquiere, MD

This is a story of recovery. It is my experience with Dr. Gesquire and Spinal Cord Stimulation. If any one reading this review has had a horrible back for years, and tried everything under the sun...cortisone injections, ablation, physical therapy, etc and had no results, please consider this procedure. It is a game changer and life changer. I had it done two weeks ago and after 30 years of pain and posture changes, I now stand upright, am almost completely pain free and to me, it was a miracle. It is one of the safest procedures you can have, and the results are life changing. The are literally almost no downsides to this surgery. Dr Michael Gesquiere is one the the few doctors that I have gone to that really cares about you as a patient and has fixed procedures that failed by others. This doctor take’s the time to talk and listen to you. I have had several internal stimulators, the 1st one work great until I had an accident and the wires inside the spine moved drastically, so I had a doctor place a different Stimulator which was installed but didn’t work properly. Doctor Gesquiere took the time to explained how he could fix the problem. I wish that I would have found him years ago instead of being in pain and having unnecessary procedures. I have seen around 30-40 Doctors since 1994. There has been only a few doctors that are truly awesome thank you Dr Michael Gesquiere.

I’ve been a patient for several years, have many issues related to roof fusion surgery. Dr. Gesquiere is caring, methodical in prioritizing pain remedies, and I owe him my ability to maintain my lifestyle, being active and not relying on pain medications. He placed a Medtronic Intellis spinal cord stimulator in 12/2018 for me and I get 80-90% relief of the nerve pain in my leg that was debilitating. I highly recommend Dr. Gesquiere and this practice.

I just had my 9-week post surgery visit after having my Medtronic spinal cord stimulator implant. As background, I've had 4 previous lower back surgeries over the past 25 years, with 2 in the last 18 months. Unfortunately I had some permanent nerve damage that further surgeries or fusions wouldn't eliminate. I was referred to Dr. Gesquiere by my orthopedic surgeon, and was encouraged by his recommendation of the spinal cord stimulator. The trial implant went well, as did the surgery for the permanent implant. I feel I'm 90% or more improved now, and as an active retiree, looking forward to getting back to the activities I enjoy - cycling, working out, hiking, pickleball, etc. I couldn't be happier with my results! I'd encourage anyone to consider this surgery/implant. I'm also very happy with the local Medtronic representatives that attended my trial and permanent implant procedures, got my stimulator programmed to adjust by itself, and have always been available for questions.

My daughters and I have been seeing Dr. Guesquiere for a coupe of years now. He has helped us so much and reduced our need for pain killers greatly. My daughter just got married and thanks to him and his awesome office staff, we danced the night away and had awesome time. I can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend Dr. Guesquiere. He truly cares and wants to help his patients get relief and enjoy life.

I was suffering from back pain for so long and tried various options to no relief. I was referred to Dr. Gesquiere - he is my angel! The spinal cord stimulation has given me a new lease on life, no more cane or wheelchair! It is a miracle Dr. Gesquiere along with the Medtronic rep spent time explaining the procedure at length. I have heard of other types of spinal cord stimulation, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have anyone but Dr. Gesquiere perform this procedure.

I was a patient of Dr Gesquiere for many months. Their office staff lack of communication made me go several day with out importland medicine. I had voiced my concerns at the practice, and they kicked me out for not agreeing that they did nothing wrong. They made me sick, and made me seek pain management elsewhere whist sick. The practice he in, is interested in invasive surgeries with high risks as opposed to something that works.

Dr. Gesquiere listens to my pain issues and THEN decides on an appropriate plan. He always takes the time to listen and answer any questions I may have. I have complete trust in him and have never been disappointed in any of his plans to address my various pain issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Gesquiere to anyone struggling with pain!!

After 2 years of seeing multiple Dr.'s, Dr. G gave me hope of finally being out of pain the first day I saw him. He performed a procedure to help the pain in my back that nobody else had ever mentioned to me. He is kind & truly cares about his patients well being. He explains things in detail, listens & looks at the overall picture of your recovery while supporting you throughout the process.

Dr. G I believe saved my husbands life, his way of listing and doing what is best for the patient is his first priority. He has made in tremendous difference in the quality of life my husband has.
