The entire team at South Florida International Orthopedics were top notch. Each step of the process from scheduling, confirmation, check in, x-ray, exam and consultation were done in a professional manner with courtesy and kindness. Dr. Gombosh was knowledgeable and thorough in his review offering a detailed explanation taking time to go over pros-cons. After visiting multiple orthopedic surgeons in the South Florida area it’s reassuring to find a caring and compassionate practice.

I went to Dr. Gombosh for a second opinion after seeing another dr. Thank God I ended up in his hands. He was caring, heard what I had to say and immediately started addressing the issue at hand. And his staff are equally caring and on top of everything. I can't say enough about Dr. Gombosh's treatment of me. If I every need anything else from his specialty, I know where I need to go.

I’m 12 weeks from a surgical repair of my hamstring tendon that was torn and retracted into my leg. Dr Gombosh made an incision on the back of my leg and retrieved my detached tendon. He then made some attachment points on the bone and pulled the tendon over so it can heal itself to the bone. The pain before surgery was unbelievable but Dr. Gombosh told me that it would go away once the tendon was reattached and he was 100% correct. I had a little to no pain therefore I took no pain medicine. Dr. Gombosh explained the whole process to me and how he did the procedure. He did an incredible job as I have no ill affects from my injury. His office staff is very nice and helpful. Never having to wait very long. His surgery coordinator is amazing and was able to pull off everything for scheduling, Preops in three days. This was a very serious injury. And if done incorrectly, could’ve been a disaster, but Dr. Gombosh has incredible knowledge and skill in performing this type of surgery. 5stars

It has been four months after my surgery, I have full movement in my arm and no pain at all! Dr. Gombosh performed my shoulder surgery and the experience has been, and continues to be, absolutely phenomenal. Both him and his staff show great compassion and concern for my well-being and speedy recovery. Everything is explained to me in detail and all my questions are answered thoroughly. Dr. gombosh evaluated my situation (I could barely walk in so much pain)and with the help of a MRI and many tests decided torn labrum arthroscopy surgery was necessary. I am an active 60+ year old male. I reached a point where I could no longer walk more than a couple 100 yards without severe pain in my hip. Dr Gombosh saw me in late December of 2020. He was attentive to my condition and listened to what I had to offer. (I'm liking him already). X rays were non conclusive so he wanted me to try some therapy and anti-inflammatory drug before taking a deeper and more expensive look. (I continue liking him) He recommended a PT but allowed as how I could use one of my choosing. The recommended PT is a short drive from my home and others I might choose farther so I booked an appointment. The PT was holistically approached and helped me determine that I had changed my natural walking gait many years ago which led to muscle imbalance (my term) and significant discomfort. One month on I am walking as far as I want (as many as 5 miles ) and back to running. My knee on the other side is also much happier for the return to my natural gait. Dr G. is excellent.

I had a total tear rotator cuff. Dr Gombosh evaluated and recommended surgery to repair the problem. The surgery went well and the recuperation has been better than expected. Has passed only three month and I can do almost everything without any problem whatsoever. He recommended and prescribed Physical Therapy and even thought I am still doing it I feel great. The office staff and the medical assistants are very accommodating and courteous. Dr Gombosh is a great physician and I am very happy with the results of my surgery.

Dr. Gombosh is a miracle worker! He was able to put my leg back together performing a surgery that not many would have been able to achieve. He and his staff are professional, compassionate and amazingly attentive to emotional as well as physical needs. He offers full service at the office including medications, orthopedic devices, therapy devices and trained professional physical therapists making my recovery so much easier and less stressful than it could have been over months that it took to heal. I even sent my son to see him at the Miami office for his lumbar issues. Thank you Dr. Gombosh and staff for all you have done for me and my family!

I have been under Dr. Gombosh's care for 5 months, (Bi-lat knee surgery) and i can honestly say that he is an amazing orthopedic doctor! He has an answer for every question, shows genuine compassion for your discomfort/pain, and has exceptional bedside manner. These things are hard to come by these days. His staff is professional and very friendly and zero wait time... Another plus, they have onsite PT service and they are excellent!
