True Professional
Dr Hajjar performed a lumbar fusion 3 yrs ago and performed an ACDF surgery on 4 cervical discs from a commercial accident January 6 and I truly cannot say enough positive comments about him. He is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and confident in his surgeries. I appreciate his “no nonsense” demeanor. I am a patient who was confident in my choice of doctors 3 years ago. I needed medical help and he gave me back a better quality of life. Thank you Dr. Hajjar!

Brain tumor
Dr. Hajjar was very professional and explained the condition and procedure well. I did not see him as arrogant but confident in his abilities, which is what one would want when someone is operating on your brain. I will be forever grateful for his expertise and caring manner.

VA referral
If you need a neurosurgeon, Doc Hajjar is the man with a plan! The VA hospital sent me out in town due to lack of spine doctors available in the VA Boise system. Dr. Hajjar was my first pick and I am ecstatic. 5 different combat zones over 15 year period, can take a toll, and the good doctor has left me feeling significantly better from just waking up, and an optimistic outlook of the near future.

Arrogance personified!
I felt from my first visit like a I was unimportant. When it came down to insurance and being medicaid I was strung along and then dropped on my head.Clearly it's all about the money not patient care. Front office staff downright rude Some of them not all of them! Had surgery scheduled then the plug pulled, Left having to start over with a new surgeon and exacerbating pain for 8 months. I had even completed all pre-op work.

Rude Staff
His front office/phone staff is very condescending. Apparently, they have missed the fact that patients are now savvy consumers and expect to be treated with care and compassion. He might be a skilled craftsman, but I choose my providers based on how well I'm treated, not just clinically, but holistically. If that kind of condescension is what's tolerated by the medical staff, I've got a pretty good idea how I'd be treated as a patient. And, after reading the other reviews about him having God Complex (which is apparently ubiquitous in neuro), I went elsewhere for my care.

my visit was a follow-up to a craniotomy. He was totally indifferent. Asked me no medical questions about how I was feeling etc. Admitted the tacks in my skull needed to come out a week ago and unceremoniously yanked them out despite scar tissue build up. Asked me if he had gotten them all and since I have no eyes on the side of my head that was a tough one. Didn't take blood pressure, nothing. Didn't talk about recovery plan, advice on actvity level. Nothing. Told me I was lucky to be doing as well as I am. I have serious pain issues, wanted to know nothing about it and because of my mental health problems would not discuss solutions. He simply did not care. He wanted me out of his office, didn't seem to want to touch me. When I asked him if I should keep my mask on (it was somewhat impeding the removal of the tacks) he said he didn't care, masks don't prevent covid so they are useless. He was ignorant, arrogant and totally indifferent.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hajjar. My boyfriend had a massive brain aneurysm in October and this man is literally our guardian angel. He has made an amazing recovery and I truly believe that it is because of the care he received from Dr. Hajjar. I will always have a very special place in my heart for him and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I am very pleased with Dr. Hajjar. He did my cervical fusion in 2013 and I have remained pain free. Dr. Hajjar also performed a two level lumbar fusion with great results. Because of Dr. Hajjar I am enjoying my busy lifestyle. I would and have recommended Dr. Hajjar to many of my friends.

Dr Hajjar is an excellent surgeon. He has done two back surgeries on me in the last 7 years because of disc herniations at different levels in my back. Dr Hajjar explained my films to me well and has always answered all of my questions. I haven't had any problems since, and am pain. I would and have recommended Dr Hajjar to family members for neck or back problems, and he did brain surgery on a close friend for a tumor and they have done very well since. He is a very thorough doctor.

I was referred to Dr Hajjar in 2010. He fused my back and I have been living in pain for that long, My hip feeling like I was hit by a sledge hammer most of the time, but it was my back he fused, except that he carved off a piece of bone off my hip to graft onto my back, he says. Well anyway I've never got the 600 pound gorilla off my back for seven years. Oh and by the time he figured out I needed therapy, I had been off work long enough that my insurance ran out. Oh well, too bad!
