Best Psychiatrist in Amarillo!
Dr Jenkins is willing to listen to how medications affect someone and is willing to work with me to find the right medication instead of just prescribing a medication willy nilly like other doctors in the area.

I have never met a psychiatrist that was more caring and focused on YOU, ever. Dr Jenkins is what every psychiatrist should aspire to be. I’ve never felt more empathy, understanding and concern from a psychiatrist than I do from Dr Jenkins. This builds trust! That’s so important. I dread the day he retires…

The Yoda of Psychiatry
I call him Yoda for a lot of reasons, but specifically because he cuts through my BS in 5 words or less and gets right to the issue, but without ANY admonishment or judgment. He’s the real deal. When I started seeing him, my PTSD was so bad I thought there could be no getting better. He changed that with his empathy, information, and know how. I trust this guy to no end.

Absolutely the Best!
I have seen Dr. Jenkins for years and you will not find a psychiatrist so versed in meds or so caring for his patients. Dr. Jenkins and his entire staff are some of the best, and make you feel like their only patient.

The only specialist I've ever trusted
Dr. Jenkins is an exceptional diagnostic MD. Not only has he been able to pinpoint my issues he is cautious with medication. 3 years in his care and I'm constantly improving. No one will ever treat my mental health but him personally. Highly recommend you see him.

The Best
Dr. Jennkins, Best doctor and very caring and understanding person. His staff is always friendly and I never have issues of any kind. He is always there to listen and answer any questions and to treat me with the up most care that I need. Overall I am blessed to have him as my doctor thank you Dr.Jennkins and staff for everything you do.

I was a patient of Dr Jenkins and before. He ever saw me I was judged and treated very unprofessionally and with no compassion at all. He had no concern about how I had been feeling or how I was doing on my meds. Etc. Just because a UA shoes positive doesn't mean you are a drug addict and that's what he said to me and didn't care to hear what I had to say or anything else. I just walked out!! I don't deserve being ridiculed and called a liar. Very Very unprofessional!!
