Wouldn’t recommend
Dr. Kahan was the surgeon who did my knee meniscus tear evaluation and surgery. He seemed intelligent and knowledgeable on this process. I listen to his advice and followed all pre and post surgery instructions. 10 weeks post surgery I met with him again as my knee was still in constant pain if I tried to something as simple as go on a short flat walk. My concern was is this the quality of life I can expect as I am fully healed and still relatively young and live a very active lifestyle. He was nothing but short with me and acted like I was wasting his time. He insisted I just do nothing and weight another month and then get a steroid shot which was a very short term solution the first time he did it. I was just trying to understand what options I have other than steroid shots and he got up and stated that maybe I should get a second opinion and he can’t help me and walked out of the examining room leaving me there not sure what I should do. Starting over.

I experienced a negative outcome from surgery performed by Dr Kahan. He was dismissive of the issues and was rude.
