Over bills
This doctor refuses to speak to his patients on the phone and doesn’t allow you to message him on the LiveWell app. I had one question that took him 30 sec to answer and had to drive 30 min there and back plus had to pay for the visit. When my home sleep study came back inconclusive, I asked him what the research was or what the statistics were on false negatives so I could decide if I wanted to go forward with the in-clinic study, and he did not know. And then I went to my follow up after the in-clinic study and it was one min long - he told me the study was negative (which I already knew because the results were on the app). When I asked him why I had to come today, he said he could educate me about snoring devices and I told him he had already done that in a previous visit. He could have saved me over an hour of driving by just CALLING me and letting me know it was negative and that he had nothing else to do for me. It is sad that he doesn’t do what’s best for his patients.

No good, find another doctor
This guy is no good. He overcharges and will bill over $500 for a 5 minute visit. The office staff is unhelpful. With no online pay...this guy is living in the 1950's. Find another doctor that actually cares about his patients. The 5 minutes he affords you at your visit could be done over the phone. He has you come into his office to over-charge you and your insurance.

Would rate more than 5 stars if possible
I have experienced a dramatic improvement in my life, thanks to Dr Katzoff! Hey folks, I have so many friends and family that have sleep apnea and they don’t want to use the cpap equipment. If you want a better life, a longer life, with fewer health problems see Dr Katzoff. He is the most outstanding physician, I have ever had. My health and life are greatly improved through his care, over the last 7 years. He is attentive to questions and concerns, he goes the extra step to make sure you understand your condition and how, together you can improve your health. He takes as much time with you as you need. I travel across the country for my appointments with him and will continue to do so, as long as he is practicing. Thank you Dr Katzoff for taking your time to answer all of my questions in and easily understood manner. THANK YOU for giving me improved health to live a happier and more functional life!

Have the highest regard for Dr. Katzoff as a physician and as a person. Sixteen years ago I was diagnosed by Dr. Katzoff as having a very rare and often misdiagnosed disease. His treatment was right on target and have been in remission and doing well for 12 years. He has always been very friendly and compassionate with me. His staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

This guy is a total joke. First of all, he DOES over bill; $500 for a 5 minute conversation about nothing I did not already know. Second thing, he practices through an in-the-network facility, but don't be fooled, as he is NOT in-the-network. Of course, you get a surprise bill because he doesn't cooperate with the insurance company. And when you try to work out a reasonable rate for these 5 minutes, he refuses to negotiate. A practice known as discriminatory pricing. So add that with the balance billing and you get a real piece of work. The next thing you find out is you're being subpoenaed to small claims court. Like I said, this guy is a joke, as well as liar, a cheat, and pretty much a thief IMHO.

I walked out of his office 30 years ago due to his over billing and obvious love for money more than patient care, but was stupid enough to go back. I saw his nurse practitioner and was billed $377 for 15 minutes. Check out Dollars for Docs.

Dr. Katzoff is a nice guy, very pleasant but I see him 1X/year for him to tell me my machine is doing what is supposed to do. If you do not use checks pay your bill while in the office or you will be running around trying to figure out how to make payment. There is no decent online payment system.

Fine doctor technically, but sleep apnea treatment took 3 visits to get started. Longest visit was maybe 10 minutes others under 5. Took a sleep study($500) got a separate $250 charge from him to look at it. Had to drive to office for appt(1 month wait) for him to say "yep you have apnea" we are sending forms to insurance, make appt for next month. Spent more time walking from car into office than with doctor, should have been phone call vs distributive mid day appt, but gotta bill that vi$it

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Katzoff to both family and friends. He is an outstanding physician! He has improved my quality of life! I can now sleep through the night. I wake rested, energized and ready to meet the new day. Previously, my sleeping was so bad, I felt more tired in the morning than when I went to bed. He desires more than 5 stars!!

Horrible Dr. Does not listen, does not even try to attempt to help. Is more interested in forcing cpaps on anybody. Doesn't care about anything you say, just what his data says. Changes what he says every time you walk in the door. I will never set foot in his office again.
