Dr. Michael Kerner, MD

If I could give less than a star I would. This “Dr.” is dismissive and doesn’t take the time to actually hear you and correctly diagnose you based on your symptoms. Was scheduled for a procedure without being prescribed medication. Procedure got cancelled due to insurance requesting I get prescribed meds first. Upon my follow-up he didn’t bother to review my chart and immediately diagnoses me with a condition that had nothing to do with my symptoms and his reasoning for his diagnosis was because “the procedure” came back with those results. (A procedure I NEVER had done, because it got cancelled). Please beware and if you can go to a new Dr. don’t waste your time on seeing this guy.

Most expensive procedure was recommended rather than a thoughtful measured approach. Staff never provided requested estimate. Felt like I served their financial interest rather than my health.

The office staff is unorganized and poorly responsive. I asked for them to authorize a procedure the day prior and the next I called and the staff had no knowledge I had even called. I had to cancel my procedure and I’ve been really ill now waiting another week. The staff then told me they don’t know who they spoke to so they wouldn’t point figures. Another time someone called from this office giving me the wrong test results. This staff is so unreliable they don’t keep track of any calls or assist patients needs. Honestly it hinders any patients healing process

Went smoothly, have to do it again soon and have total confidence in Dr. Kerner.

Dr. Kerner is very professional and a good listener too! He came highly recommended. Staff is wonderful too.

I had an ongoing issue after gall bladder surgery years ago. Dr. Kerner was the only gastro who correctly identified the problem and prescribed the medication that has made a huge difference in my lifestyle.

My young adult daughter has had a digestive issue for a long time and other doctors did not seem to care very much about actually helping her beyond a diagnosis.. We were happy to find Dr. Kerner, who took his time asking her a lot of questions and explaining things to her. He has an approach about avoiding prescription medication if possible and we appreciate that. Hopefully she will soon be able to manage her condition with the help and advice Dr. Kerner offered.

Dr Kerner is a very good physician and always very professional. He is very concise in his explaination of the procedure and puts the patient at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Kerner and his entire staff.

Dr Kerner has a warm, pleasant manner and makes you feel at ease immediately. I highly recommend him .and his very attentive, friendly staff.

Dr. Kerner is an excellent communicator, easy to speak with, doesn't rush you and is very caring. The office staff and gastro surgical staff are very thorough and friendly.

I dread every five years when Dr. Kerner contacts me that it's time again for a colonoscopy. However, Dr Kerner and his staff make the dreaded procedure much more tolerable. In fact I had the procedure today at the Gastro Surgi Center and it went so smooth especially since I requested an early morning time slot. I was the first patient in and was out in two hours. Kudos to Dr Kerner and his entire staff at the center they were focused and very professional throughout every phase of my procedure.

From my initial visit and through my procedure, all of the staff that participated in my care has been compassionate, empathetic and professional. I am well pleased with the level of service provided by Dr. Michael Kerner and his staff.
