I was diagnosed with T2 prostate cancer and my local urologist suggested I interview Dr Koch and a radiation oncologist to explore options. We selected the daVinci surgery option. Dr Koch has done many of these surgeries each month for many years. It's good to have that experience to put to work on your case. Dr Bock and then Dr Koch in the interview visit explained their perspective on my situation and were not rushed at all. Surgery was at IU North and all went as planned. One month later, my PSA was undetectable! I hope to remain cancer-free for many years!

Dr. Koch was amazing. After being diagnosed with cancer and the scary anticipation of having prostate surgery, Dr. Koch made me comfortable and relaxed from my very first appointment with him. He is the most experienced surgeon with the DeVinci procedure in the area and his bedside manner was very professional as well as reassuring.

Told that my PSA readings were severely high by my primary care physician, three years ago, I have been under this doctor's care, for the past three years. Truth be known, I have known Dr. Kock for years, as a was Sales Director for two of the leading surgical companies, my entire professional career. When told that one has cancer, there is no laughing or joking to be done. Having known Dr. Koch only for his prestigious reports and acknowledgement from his peers, I chose him mainly because of his reputation among those that know Prostate Cancer best, meaning a handful of pundits at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, the focal point of treatment and assessment. My first few patient visits allowed me to assess Dr. Koch's "bed side manner". And, as I have seen doctors and surgeons, from A to Z, I can tell you that many become a physician with no personality. I recommend Dr. Koch to anybody, as he is reknowned, amongst his peers, as the best you can go to.
