Dr Lee is awesome. He’s present, he pays attention and he will tell you straight on a human level. I’ve had Dr Lee for several years, and although I’m not a small man, I did show up in my mechanics uniform, which is only 1 rung down the status ladder from a Doctor, he has never talked down or treated me as anything other than a fellow human. Not that I would let anyone talk down to me without a price to pay. He was just a man that knows what he’s talking about telling me the truth. That’s harder to find than it should be these days. I just found out that he left kaiser in Bakersfield and I will miss him. He stands above the sea of mediocrity that a big portion of doctors seem to float in from. Fair the well Dr. Lee, you will be missed!

Dr. Lee helped me overcome a "flare up" of lower lumbar pain/loss of mobility 35 years post-surgery. His diagnosis and treatment were superb. New drugs are now in my "lumbar toolbox" for flare up treatment--gabapentin and prednisone. He also charted a path of increasingly sophisticated evaluation and treatment (future LESIs) which proved unnecessary. I am EXTREMELY pleased to have learned that "the state of the art" has advanced and that Dr. Lee is fully apprised of the latest developments.

After suffering a major flare up of lower lumbar pain/loss of function I obtained a referral to see if "the state of the art" had advanced since my last sophisticated examination 10 years ago. It had. Dr. Lee's examination was thorough, and led him to prescribe two (2) new to me prescriptions: gabapentin and prednisone. An agreed course of action for evaluation and more sophisticated modalities (LESIs); proved unnecessary. Dr. Lee's examination, evaluation, and treatment were all superb.
