Vasectomy
Dr. Lee was pleasant on our brief consultation. For the procedure he was great, explained how it was going to work, updated me throughout the surgery (which took approximately 7 minutes) and I had absolutely no issues afterwards. Was doing light workouts two days later and felt perfectly fine after 5 days. Couldn’t recommend more!

Dr. Lee is a very experienced doctor. Before my visit to his office, he already read my CT imaging result and planned the treatments to remove my kidney stones. During my visit, I received his treatment suggestions confirmatively and time-efficiently. He also asked me if I had questions several times, so it made me feel very conformable to ask the questions. After visit and communications with him by hospital online messages, I decided to receive the laser lithotripsy with his recommendation based on my stone size in kidney. After the surgery provided by him, the followup ultrasound test showed that the stone was removed and the surgery is very successful with ~ a month recovery. In addition, the staff in the hospital are very friendliness.

Seen on time. No wait. Was impressed he read my chart prior to visit and had some knowledge of my problems. Made for efficient visit. My wife and I felt like we had a good plan of action moving forward. Fortunate to find him.

Lazy, and communicates poorly
This guy did not address or even acknowledge my simple questions. He had his hand on the door knob waiting for me to stop talking so he could leave as quickly as possible. He wants to prescribe pills you don't need and get you out the door so he doesn't have to deal with you. I have to start this process over with a new doctor. Frustrating waste of time.

Great care over 7 years
Sad to see Dr. Lee leave Atrius. He's been thorough, attentive and accessible to my father over the years. He'll be a great addition to MGH and we'll plan to follow him there.

Review of dr. Michael Lee
1. After three years of me showing symptoms of kidney cancer, including bleeding, Dr. Lee still could not diagnose it because he was completely dependent on incorrect MRI results and refused to do another test. Then when an ultrasound clearly showed a tumor, he told me about it but gave me no referral to a surgeon. He left me on my own to find treatment. I found a competent doctor and survived. I think Dr. Lee is a danger to patients .
