Dr. Lifshren is awesome
Dr. Lifshen is very proactive and super responsible with thorough knowledgement. For a period of time I had higher HbA1c than normal. My mom had diabetes. I fall into pre-diabetes category. Dr. Lifshen was very patient. He asked me to do exercises, eat healthier diet and maintain a better lifestyle. I tried it but my HbA1c was still high. Dr. Lifshen doesn't want me to get diabetes. He checked my health and suggested me start to take very low dose of medicine to reduce my HbA1c so that I won't get Diabetes in the future. I decided to give a try. Now my HbA1c improved. Dr. Lifshen told me to cut down the medicine in half and continue the better lifestyle. His goal and mine is the same, eventually reduce the medicine to zero. He was patient when he treated my medical condition, he listened to my thought and allowed me the time to adjust. He has years of medical experience and he is very thorough and supportive. I'd highly recommend him.

These bad reviews make me wonder if these people even saw Dr. Lifshen. I've been seeing him for years and he is, by far, the best gp I have ever seen as a patient. I recently moved 1.5 hours away and still drive in to see him because I refuse to change doctors. He has great bedside manner and does act like he cares...better yet he listens. Could not recommend more.

Very dismissive towards me. He would ask a question and immediately cut me off. He has the worst “bedside manner”. I was only seeing him since my regular doc was on leave. He did not honor the plan I had been working under with my doc. He was more concerned about how I was weaning off of antidepressants than he was cutting me off of pain meds cold turkey. I would think twice before visiting this quack. I will be moving to another practice.

He was very dismissive of the one question I asked him. I was warned before the appointment began that he would only be able to address one question. I do not know why his appointments are so rushed. His physical exam was also very limited. He asked me what my other doctor thought and had very few questions about my symptoms. He did not perform a review of systems. I also feel he was trying to upcharge me by repeating recently obtained results without looking at prior values.

I was not impressed at all. I have never left a review before but realized I chose my Dr from word of month and reviews. To start Dr. Lifshen staff seemed like they were going through the motions. I came for a well visit and to find a new GP as my old one retired. Dr. Lifshen could of cared less about my health much less my well being. I found him short and very curt.. he would ask a question then cut me off in the first sentence. I will not go back. He seemed like he was ready to retire.

Dr Lifshen was fair as a doctor. Generally, he is disinterested, something making me wonder why he chose to be a GP. He misdiagnosed my extreme hip degeneration for years, finally requesting an X-ray and referring me to a Physical Therapist. It was the PT who discovered the degeneration, telling me there was nothing he could do. Premier Family Physicians has the worst professional administration I have ever dealt with. They consistently have trouble with prescriptions and do no followup.
