Prompt attention and reassuring diagnosis
Called his office very early this morning after a midnight episode of a very strong involuntary jerking/ convulsing of my right arm. Was asked to come see him straight away and he examined me with detailed attention to see my reactions to his questions with my eyes still closed. Reassured me that what happened was probably a pinched nerve under unusual pressure by my body to find a more comfortable sleeping position. Prescribed no medication with a diagnosis that there was no neurological issue involved. And there was no need for an MRI and CTscan since I already had one last year that gave me a clean bill of health. I consider him a true upholder of the hypocratic oath with a modern approach to meducine. " Give the minimum dosage permissible in the shortest time possible."

Kathy
Dr Lowenthal is a great doctor but his receptionist Kathy is a piece of ——-–. I think I will stop seeing him because of her. She needs a good proctologist

Dr. lowenthal used to be good but the last few times I Saw him, he was rude, cold, and dismissive. His receptionist Cathy (and all the others in there) are extremely rude and have horrible attitudes. They act like they’re doing you a favor when you talk to them. There are so many other doctors to choose from, don’t settle for this place. Go somewhere where they actually care about you!

I would definitely NOT recommend coming to this doctor. My family and I had been coming here for years and as the years have gone on, the service has gotten terrible. The receptionist could not be more rude if she tried (how she keeps this job I have no idea), and Dr. Lowenthal legitimately stopped caring about his patients and doesn't have common human courtesy anymore. It's really a shame, so my whole family stopped seeing him. There have got to be better doctors out there who actually care about patients and want to help. His hours are also atrocious, good luck even getting an appointment. Don't waste your time and find someone else.

Dr. Lowenthal is the most attentive, patient, and though practitioner I have ever been to. He runs his practice on time and follows up timely. He brings genuine care to his patients and is an excellent diagnostician.
