Appointment CANCELED !
February 13; 2023 at my annual physical my primary care doctor put in a referral for me to see a rheumatologist. I was scheduled for June 27, 2023 with Dr. Malloy at 9 AM with an 8:45 arrival. After waiting 4 & 1/2 months for this appointment, I received a call at 8:10 this morning telling me Dr. Malloy is out of the office this week….REALLY??? She said Dr. Malloy doesn’t have another opening for a year, but she could scheduled me with another doctor for this Friday. Who runs an office like this??? I would like to know if anyone else is seeing Dr. Malloy this week, or did they cancel all of his appointments?

My Life is Better
I have seen Dr Malloy 5 years. The very first impression of Dr Malloy was spot on and he really took my arthritis pain I was in seriously. When I need to see him or Theresa Dr. Malloy’s nurse practitioner. She is very good and listens too. I always leave her with a plan. If I had a choice to stay with Dr Malloy or change to a Rheumatologist that was only a few miles away from my home, I wouldn’t change to another -Rheumatologist as long as I can see Dr. Malloy and his staff! The office girls do an amazing job too. I love the entire office, I don’t feel like I’m seeing a Dr, I am treated like family. I would definitely without hesitation, recommend Dr Malloy and his team!!

Wonderful Dr and man!
I’ve had Dr Malloy working with me for close to 10 years. He is thorough and thoughtful and takes his time to listen to everything I have to say. I’m shocked his rating is not at least 4.5 star rating. He genuinely cares about his patients. I find no fault with him. I will not do anything that would cause me to change doctors. I wouldn’t consider moving if I lost him as my doctor. He doesn’t rush to determine the diagnosis to which I’m grateful. It was hard at first because I was in such pain but it was worth it to get the proper diagnosis. I will always be grateful, in my opinion he is the best ever!

Dr Malloy is a great doctor but unfortunately his staff runs everything and their not caring or compassionate. I dealt with it because he was a great doctor but it became too much to deal with. Between messages not being answered, can’t get in to an appointment, weeks before meds get refilled, rude staff. When dealing with a lifetime health condition you not only need a good doctor but a doctor with a good team. It’s very important to find someone that makes you feel like they listen and care but his staff does not and they run everything for him. So if they want to make you wait a year for an appointment or not send messages for him to get that’s what they do. I wouldn’t waste my time with this office because even though he’s a great doctor he’s surrounded by really negatively poorly run people. I would find a doctor that has a great nurse and answering staff

The office manager for Dr. Malloy is very unprofessional and covers up their physician assistant mistakes. Sends in 90 day prescription refills for only 30 days and then sends me a note on my prescription via my pharmacy that I must see the doctor before I can get my normal maintenance 90 day dose. Of course the office manager lied to me again and said the pharmacy put those orders on the 30 day prescription. I found proof via the pharmacy that this change was done by the physician assistant that I was supposed to once per year cancelled my appointment two years in a row and postpone my appointment for over 3 months the first time. I mentioned this to the office manager who promptly and quietly began the steps to fire me from their practice. They accused me of being rude and disruptive in the letter I received and gave me no recourse to tell my side of the story. The office manager lied to protect the RN physician assistant at my expense. Don't waste your time with this office.

Very Insulted and Disgusted Patient – Jan 25, 2020
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Malloy?
Dr Malloy review I was a patient of Dr. Malloy’s for about 10 years. I always really liked Dr. Malloy as a person and I think he means well overall. Unfortunately, over the years it’s been difficult to be his patient. The warren clinic office of rheumatology itself is not ran well. Over recent years, I found that getting a question about my care outside of appointments was difficult to come by if you called the office. With lupus, especially at first it was hard to know what to do with symptoms. In recent years, I tried to ask questions (minimally) via the warren clinic “my chart” online resource. I asked a question regarding my medication and an antibiotic I was taking. I didn’t receive a response for two weeks. I asked why the question took that long to be answered and I received a response from a LPN saying “schedule an appointment”. Ironically, he’s very difficult to schedule an appointment with as he has so many patients now (he’s usually 4 months out). So, I asked again about

After 4 years i still dont have a diagnosis!!! Dr Malloy however gave me the meds to treat a disease but hasnt diagnosised me with said disease! it takes 9 monthor more to get in to see him even though i am suppose to have an appointment every 6 months. when i do have an appointment i have to wait more then an hour past my appointment time to even see him. I am not impressed with him at all and at this point since i dont have a diagnosis i am having a hard time finding another rheumatologist to see me!

Dr. Malloy is one of the most incredibly competent doctors I have ever seen. The lab tests he ordered were at such a high level that I had to research what some of them measured. You won't find a more intelligent, compassionate, brilliant or kind physician. Dr. Malloy is an exemplary doctor and an outstanding human being. My family and I are very grateful to him.

This guy just dropped my sister as a patient and is refusing care for her after she called his office for help for the withdrawals from the meds he has been prescribing her for years. He told her to seek care elsewhere and goodbye.

I've been a patient of Dr. Malloy's for 9 years. From my first appointment with him, I knew he was a great physician. He's friendly, kind, and patient. Additionally, he listened to my ailments, assessed them thoroughly, and each follow-up appointment I make for my life long condition, he repeats the thorough assessment to see if anything has changed. I HIGHLY recommend him as a physician. Last, it may be a 3-6 months out before you can see him...he is worth the wait!
