Great doctor
Great bedside manner! Hilarious and funny but also highly professional. His treatment plan for me was on point. Thanks for being one of the good ones.

A top notch neurologist!
I'm a complicated neurology patient, having had brain surgery, spinal surgeries, migraines among other things. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time to listen and provide solutions. His staff is wonderful and I am always seen on time. He is absolutely the best neurologist I've had!

Stay Away
He must have skipped his BEDSIDE MANNER 101 course. He is matter of fact, doesn’t really properly address nor sufficiently answer your questions. He says one thing and then completely changes it on a follow up visit. He performed a diagnostic test and sent the completed report to my doctor. On a follow up visit, he says “No, you don’t have that, you have this”. I kept questioning him on why the change and what is supporting it. He never really answered. My best advise…stay away from this guy.

Dr. McCaffrey is very caring and very professional
Dr. McCaffrey and his team are just great. I have had 2 EMG's in the past year and both times he spent time with me, explaining to me the procedure and what to expect next. I never felt rushed. Renee, the technician made me feel at ease and talked with me through the procedure. I would recommend this Dr to anyone I know. Karin

3 years no Neurologists knew what was wrong with me. I even got 5 useless steroid shots in my spine. Finally my doctor sent me to see Dr. MCcaffrey. He ran multiple tests which led him to diagnose me with a rare Auto Immune disease. I had drop foot, was falling down all the time, and loosing so much weight my friends and family thought I was dyeing. After starting the procedure Dr. MCcaffrey prescribed I've gained my weight back, I'm not falling any more and I'm getting better every day. I owe my life to this man.

After meeting with Dr. McCaffrey for the first time, I was impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and a plan for a course of action/treatment with an ongoing Bells Palsy issue. The office staff was pleasant and I waited only minutes from my scheduled appointment time.

Initial and follow up visits. Rushes to provide addictive and overly dangerous drugs to combat symptoms for a condition he has not correctly diagnosed. I won't be returning for any follow up visits and certainly would not recommend him to anyone.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The sheer disregard for patients personal scheduled time ridiculous. Waiting over and hour to see the doctor is unacceptable only to be treated like....you don't really matter and he doesn't really care.

After 12 doctors and 2 1/2 years, Dr. McCaffrey was able to diagnose my Cervical Dystonia Condition immediately. CD is the 3rd most common movement disorder in the world and a dozen other specialists missed it. I have been treated by him for about 5 years now. Without him I'd have no life. He's smart and personable and cares about YOU as a human being.

I took my husband there for Alzheimer's. He talked about football for 30 minutes and not about my husband and ignored me totally. Loaded him up on meds that made both our lives a hell. I threw the meds in the trash. Switchboard is horrible and always busy. Do not go there. We will never go back. Did nothing to help. A waste of time.

He did some tests, seemed interested in helping me. On my third visit, he said something negative about "Obamacare", and when I told him my family was able to afford healthcare now, and that I had been helped by it as well, he completely changed his attitude, told me my conditions were due to my diet, even though he had no idea what I eat, and told me to get on the Paleo diet. That was it. My condition has worsened greatly, and I don't know what to do, or where to go!

Went with my husband to see this so called specialist. I found him rude, obnoxious, condescending, so full off himself. No empathy at all. One of my husbands other doctors wanted us to get an opinion from him about a certain brace he thought may help his drop foot. He actually had to the nerve to say why didn't the other doctor write the prescription because now he had to deal with questions from insurances. He even corrected my use of word, like he was an English teacher. Don't go to him.

I agree with the comment about him being condescending and a know-it-all, without the competence I expected. He told me I had a normal 890 year old brain, then told my primary doctor I had Mild Cognitive Impairment, often a precursor to Alzheimers. He also gave me a prescription for Aracept (given to Alzheimer patients) and said it would help my memory, AND that HE was going to take it next time his Board exams came up, as his memory wasn't too good anymore! I 'fired' him after one visit!
