Cool orthopedic
I had a right shoulder dislocation and fracture. I needed to get a sternoclavicular joint surgery done. Was referred to Dr. McKee and he gave me one or 2 options, get surgery or leave how it was. I decided surgery and he did the first surgery great, included a metal plate and screws on the bone to stay in place but he kept it in to long past the time it was supposed to come out originally. I got it took out and restitched back up. After the fact, he kept me coming in to look at it through X-rays. He told me by bump would go down after surgery and I would just have a scar but now I have a scar and a bump coming out my right shoulder, sternum area. I still have hella pain and I been trying to get some assistance from him but since he did the surgery, in my opinion he don’t care about the after effects going on with you. I still can’t sleep because of pain. He is a cool doctor but money driven a bit in my opinion.

Be careful
I lost all respect for Dr.McKee after my experience with him misrepresenting facts and showing unprofessional behavior. He admitted to not even reading the relevant reports before confidently coming to a wrong conclusion, but never apologized or corrected his error.

Who does a surgery on Thursday then takes a 3 day weekend every week?? The day after surgery is when patients will most likely need you most and for your office to tell them to wait until Monday is just terrible. Don't schedule surgery if you're going to ignore your patient for 3 days afterwards.

I had a terrible collarbone injury over a year ago that I had several doctors look over and basically tell me nothing was wrong with me. After a year of no treatment I heard a large pop and felt lots of movement and pain. I saw two doctors before seeing Dr. McKee. He diagnosed me with a dislocation of the collarbone. It was pushing on my jugular and could have been a worse issue then it was. He was shocked that no one had treated me up until that point. He did surgery on me soon after to put the bone back where it should have been and cleaned everything up and stabilized it. 3 months after he removed the stabilizer. I will never be back to 100% but I am super grateful for his care in a very long and arduous situation.

Dr. McKee performed orthopedic trauma surgery for my wife after we collided with a bear on our motorcycle. On top of her left below knee amputation she also had a fracture at the distal end of her femur on her right leg severe fractures on her lower right leg and multiple fractures of her pelvis and hip. We did not think she would walk again. Thanks to dr. Mckee we are now leading what we call our new normal life which includes many sports activities for my wife still. Last Summer she began writing a bicycle and she's an active snowshoer and has even tried cross country skiing again. Without doctor McKees skill and kindness she certainly would not have been afforded the options in life that she was under his care and we are forever grateful

Dr. McKee did surgery on my fractured tibia plateau and fractured humerus, both requiring internal fixation. I've had no problems. He answers all my questions without hesitation. Never a problem in making an appointment and his staff is as kind and pleasant as he is. I'm thankful he's my orthopedic surgeon.

Saw the PA for my first post op visit after wrist surgery, but my six week follow up was with Dr McKee. Waited over 40 minutes to see him and he spent 5 minutes in the room. He twisted my wrist very roughly when examining me and dismissed my pain when I tensed up and asked him to stop. When I tried to ask questions he either dismissed them or started talking about something else. Tried to make my next follow up with the PA again but was told that he wants to see his own patients. Will not return

Consulted in ED after accident. Evidently did not read CT. Sent home without pain meds. Went back twice in so much pain. Patronized and patted on the back making me feel like a whiner staying no fractures. Picked up my records... CT indicated fracture in 4 locations of my pelvis. His value statement says everyone is treated with respect. Now they won’t take my calls. Would not recommend

Had major surgery from a fall, Dr. McKee was assigned to me. 2 weeks post-op and I had run out of pain meds. Went from regularly taking oxycontin for 3 weeks to nothing. His suggestion? Take extra strength Tylenol. Add that to waiting close to 2 hours to see him. Second post-op visit (after a secondary fall and increase of pain) waited over an hour to see him and no additional imaging and again no meds. Did not listen to my needs, said no "because the government says no." Thanks for nothing.
