Dr. Mefford is always on time and truly listens to what I have to say. He’s caring and asks questions to make sure I am benefitting from treatment. If I have a concern or need help he finds the best solution. I appreciate his willingness to thoroughly discuss things and explain the options.

Has excellent bedside manner. Very easy to talk, too. His sessions are in-depth, and he makes sure if you have any questions, he explains it in a way you will understand.

Dr Mefford has been with me every step of my diagnosis and treatment! Scheduling is easy, portal is great, he always answers quickly, and understands when I forget what day it is and end up 10 minutes late - which is nice when you're working with an ADHD doctor lol! I appreciate him so much, he's very compassionate and really cares.

Dr. Mefford has impressed me in so many ways and has changed my view of the medical profession. One example of what sets Dr. Mefford apart from other doctors occurred when the pharmacy I typically use didn't have my medicine in stock and after emailing Dr. Mefford about the issue, he had resolved the issue and the prescription was ready less than 10 minutes later; this happened on a Friday afternoon at a quarter till 5:00 pm.

I moved to SC and needed a new psychiatrist for my ADHD. Dr. Mefford was the first I met and he has been excellent. We have explored medications outside of the one I was taking that was giving me some discomfort and he is well-versed in all of the different options.

Dr. Mefford is an outstanding physician who is thorough and understanding. He schedules enough time for each appointment to review any changes or problems taking place since your previous visit and his availability for tele-health appointments make his practice the most flexible for fitting in a visit during the work week.

Dr. Mefford is the most understanding doctor I’ve ever had. He’s honest yet non-judgmental and very attentive to your needs. Top notch professional and he has helped me in more ways than I can express. I’m winning at life again thanks to him.

Having been diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I had not found a doctor that really listened to me and my goals. By chance I found Dr. Mefford who has taken the time to help me find a plan that works for me. If we have to tweak the plan, he doesn’t hesitate to give me the facts and his advice, while still taking my concerns into consideration and making sure I am comfortable moving forward. Doctor is very thorough. Allows you to take your time. Shows compassion and respect for the patient. Online portal is very easy to use and Doctor is very responsive to any messages.

Dr. Medford is the most competent and compassionate Doctor I've ever known. He remembers little details about me and seems to actually care if I'm getting better which is a stark difference to other psychiatrists I've seen in the past. He doesn't just throw pills at a problem but offers real world solutions and coping skills. If you need compassionate treatment for adult ADHD he's the bees knees!
