Meh....watch out for the whacko..
Encountered some concerning behavior from the front office staff. Their interactions were strange and unprofessional, it felt like they were gaslighting and harassing (especially the young man)- it’s become increasingly uncomfortable and difficult to ignore- I will not return.

Stay away. You are not going to get any help and treatment plan from him. Read all those bad reviews before booking. You don’t want to end up as a remorse one timer.

A danger to his patients, Avoid
This doctor performed a medical review of my condition in which he took low points of my distant medical history completely out of context, and used this to suggest I may have some sort of personality disorder, something that no one before or since has ever suggested. He simultaneously ignored pertinent pieces of medical information and stated that I should be admitted to an inpatient detox program, to detox from amphetamines. I am a fast metabolizer of the stimulant which works best for my ADHD, and treated with an adequate dose, I was stable for 8 years, and able to complete a B.Sc. in Chemistry, something that would have been impossible without appropriate treatment. Dr. Mufson falsely stated that the higher dosage I clearly required and benefited from had no apparent benefit, and that I was suffering from 'drug addiction'. His words misrepresented my medical history in an infuriating manner, thankfully my GP saw his 'report' for what it was.

Disturbing that he is a doctor
I had a really weird experience with this doctor where I talked to him for a brief evaluation when I was very upset. He definitely escalated the situation by aggressively trying to get a detailed trauma history, something that is really bizarre to try to do to a patient you have just met and is already distressed. Keeps really weird records including excessive details that are often taken out of context, followed by an extremely weird differential diagnosis including some really severe, stigmatizing conditions that I clearly don't have. I was shocked to look online and see so many reviews of people complaining about very similar behavior. It's disturbing to me that he is a psychiatrist, and that so many people have the same complaints and no one stops him.

I am horrified by Dr Mufson as a doctor and I feel strongly that no one ever see him. In our first session(along with having a resident there without asking me), he mumbled the whole time, was staring out the window and seemed very out of it. He called in a prescription for me at CVS and three different times it couldn't be filled due to him not leaving full info- my full name, my birth date or the quantity amount. When I or CVS kept trying to reach him, he blamed cvs. He was insensitive to me!
