Dr. Murray's Office is the most frustrating medical office I have ever dealt with. My internist sent me to Dr. Murray to see about surgery for a hiatal hernia. I have waited over 3 months and still have not had all the tests scheduled. I finally got an endoscopy scheduled and then I fell the day before and seriously hurt myself and could not walk. Zoo they told me that I would have to wait another 2 months for the test after already waiting for 2 months. Further, I never got called to explain to me the results of the stomach draining test. There is absolutely no patient service in this office which has made me terrified to have Dr Murray perform surgery on me. Meanwhile my condition has gotten worse and worse. There is no excuse to have to wait 4 months for a basic procedure. I probably would not be able to have surgery for years. Terrible terrible terrible and its no won Der the medical system in the US is the worse in the world.

I walked out of my appointment wondering why I felt annoyed and borderline angry! On the drive home, I had some time to think. I did not have a surgery with Dr. Murray, so I can’t comment on his surgical abilities. But being a doctor means you work with people. That means taking the TIME to listen—not talking over time mid-sentence, cutting me off multiple times and being in a huge rush to meet that 10 minute deadline. The comments he made about where I would be health wise in the future we’re straight up abrasive and harsh! I should just slit my wrists NOW! This doctor needs to slow down. Take the time to listen, maybe even go so far as to show empathy or concern. If those things are too hard, he should just stay behind the scalpel and let a nurse practitioner run the appointments. I will never see him again.

All this doctor wanted to do was push a weight loss surgery even though I just needed a hurnery repair. Never mind I had & was still loseing weight on my own. I expressed that I wanted to avoid surgery if I could as I had complications from my last surgery. His answer was "Of course you did" He never once refered to my chart as he hadn't even brought it with him. If he had been a decent doctor he would have made me feel comfortable not assumed I was doing nothing about my weight. He made me feel like fat people discusseded him. I have worked with & had many doctors & I would never send someone to him that was fat. He has no sympathy for fat people he just assumes that we all spend our time EATING! I am still in remussion from endometrial cancer & I'm DAMED if I will deal with a doctor with this kind of bedside manner.

There is something really wrong with this doctor. I think the majority make it through unscathed, but god forebid you are one of small percentage that he flips on. Most traumatic experience of my life. Go somewhere else. Save yourself from what could be the worse episode in your ife.

Dr. Murray did my TIF surgery. He was completely involved in the entire process, keeping me "in the loop" about everything applied to the procedure. He did the surgery 8/20/18 and I have yet to take an antacid tablet (as of 3/28/19). The man cares about his patients.

I would rather be lanced open (while awake and without a local) to drain after an appendectomy by a retired Air Force Doctor, than deal with Dr. Murray. I know this from personal experience. I can't believe I paid for this memory.

Dr. Murray performed a TIF procedure on me in August, 2018. Since the procedure, I have experienced no acid reflux (which had been the bane of my existence for almost my entire adult life). He is a first class healer, and a heck of a good man.

I want to take a minute to thank Dr. Murray and his staff. I saw Dr. Murray for a possible Cancer. I had an enlarged lymph node in my neck that he biopsied not once but twice. The first one came back inconclusive, the 2nd one as normal lymph node. He was pretty sure that I did in fact have Cancer. I had an enlarged tonsil show up between my visits to him and he was even more sure then. After tonsils and Lymph node removed tests came back positive for Cancer. Glad he persisted..

He "repaired" a very common hernia for me. When I was finally scheduled to return to my office job, I was having severe dizziness, feeling sick to my stomach, weakness, shooting pain, and appearing to be very pale, which I found out after consulting additional medical professionals, are symptoms of internal bleeding. So, I went back to Dr. Murray to ask him about it. He told me, "Stop milking it, you're fine. go home." not at all happy, now I need surgery again on the same hernia.

I had him remove my gallbladder and afterwards I repeatedly went to see him for severe pain. These are his words; There's nothing wrong, just take pain medication.. This was unacceptable, after multiple post-op office visits, I went to another surgeon, & the ER. Turns out, there were no internal stitches, or if there were, no where to be found. The surgeon whom repaired me was shocked. The situation was critical, I could have easily died had I taken Murray's advice.
