Dr. Newnam was great. Nurse who checked me in acted bored and disinterested. She asked about medication changes. I told her there were many and told her what they were. She stood there making no notes. Later I noted no changes were made.

Fantastic 1st office visit!
My cpap hasn't been helping me (it's 10 yrs old) I was referred to Dr Newmans office. Scheduling was easy! I was seen promptly, his nursing staff was personable and friendly. Dr Newman knows his stuff!! It was refreshing to feel like my concerns were heard and validated.. He scheduled me for another much needed sleep study and said I needed a new cpap machine. It was so nice to meet Dr Newman and his wonderful staff!

Very difficult to schedule appts and does not return patient calls within a reasonable time , if at all. Looking for another clinician who is truly invested in providing excellent care. Not this guy!

Good visit. Dr. Newnam was excellent. Explained everything. Accommodating in that I live a ways away, he set up my study at my home.

Professional. Dr. advised that I needed a medium mask and a chin strap. After obtaining items, my mask seal is 100% and I no longer have a dry mouth. Before obtaining items, the water in my humidifier would be empty when I woke up in the morning. Now, there is plenty of water in the humidifier after waking up.

Don't use Newman or MedEx Bad Service, Frustrated
My GEHA Health insurance says that MedEx (or Michael Newman) didn't (doesn't) know how to process charges to GEHA' by using the incorrect billing codes, consequently, I'm out of pocket (~$1200) for the 'Dreamstation' that hasn't worked in months... from forcing too much pressure out the nose mask. Last Dec. 2021 MedEx had a collection agency try to collect the bill which I refused to pay since I didn't feel like I owed it. I called MedEx today and learned these repeated charges were for rental of the unit. There's no place written on the invoice that says 'Rental'. I thought all this was taken care of by my GP, Dr. Patterson, giving but his office is acting like they approved me for the unit. So the rental is probably costing more than the bipap unit cost.
