My wife and I moved to Ankeny 3 years ago. I have seen three doctors, and been to 2 clinics, before selecting my health care provider. My first visit with Dr. Nicholson and I knew, at the end, I had found someone I could trust and rely on for good health advise for me.

He is really caring and listens to what you are saying. He likes to find more natural ways to treat if possible rather than just shove meds down your throat. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Nicholason for 5 years. He's the most compassionate, caring physician I've ever had in all of my 50 years of life. He will listen & get to the bottom of what is going on. Something past drs didn't do. Cannot say enough good things about him & his staff. 100% recommend!

Disappointing experience where he didn't aggressively attempt to treat a disease nor follow up. Had to wait 45 minutes to get in, prescription was called to the wrong pharmacy, the nurse took a couple hours to call back when I tried to get help. Nice guy but needs a better nurse and needs to take illnesses seriously instead of letting patients linger.

Very personable, listens to his patients, I feel at ease with his suggestions and feel very comfortable with his decisions. I travel 30 miles to see him. He's worth the extra time and effort he gives his patients.
