The worst medical care I’ve ever received
Number one: His office is rude, they began to sigh everytime I called and gave my name. Dr. Older is good at ordering diagnostic tests but when it came to treating my disease, his office couldn’t even send an appropriate PA which reflected my insurances policy. This was something they were attempting to do for 3 months and never did correctly!! I have never had to walk an office through all the steps before and this is why I had to call so much. They were rude to me on every occasion I called but nice in person. Infuriating! I feel like I’ve been begging for medical care. When you do see him, the appointment last no longer than 5 minutes, I constantly felt rushed out. My last visit with him he never even bothered to ask how I had been doing. As a healthcare professionals I’m quite literally appalled.

Competent but rude
Dr. Older denied my request that he wear a mask, and when I expressed my nervousness about having my colon perforated during a colonoscopy, he rudely told me that Americans want 100% guarantees. He then pointed to the window, telling me that an airplane could fly through it at any moment. He was so angry that I found myself asking him to calm down. Had I not already gone through all the prep, I would have canceled the procedure. The procedure itself was fine and he was calm and more polite afterward, but his earlier hostility scared me.

Absolutely wonderful Dr
I saw Dr. Older in his office, I then had an endoscopy a few weeks later. He went through everything with me, thoroughly, incredibly professional, incredibly nice. I could not have picked a better Doctor. I’m really surprised with the low Feedback above. This man goes above and beyond for his patients. He sits and thoroughly explains the procedure, and takes the time. He also make sure that you understand everything. I left understanding that I had three ulcers. I finally had an answer to why my stomach was hurting.

Unfortunately it was not a positive experience. When I expressed valid concerns over taking a prescribed medication I was met with sarcasm, and basically escorted out of his office. No mention of any alternatives, no suggestions for what else I could do to relieve symptoms, etc. If a doctor is going to treat me in a condescending manner and basically wash his hands of me, than I can't recommend him.

Although I felt that Dr Older was doing a good job dealing with my condition I had an experience that has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. I was brought in on for a totally unnecessary appointment where I was basically handed some paperwork and ended up getting charged over $200. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 pm, I got there at 3:40 pm and was back in my car at 3:45pm. Talking to the office staff in an effort to get some justice in this situation was like talking to a wall...
