Outstanding Physician
Dr. Paul was my wife’s High-Risk OB. Together, with Dr. Paul and her regular OB, Dr. Simckes’ guidance, experience and care, my wife gave birth to our twin sons. There were many heartbreaks, losses and challenges along the way, and after her final 13 weeks of pregnancy on hospitalized bedrest, the boys were born at 32 weeks, each weighing four pounds. To make my point, as “trite” and/or “cheesy” as it may seem, one of our twin sons (now 19 years old and about lto be college sophomores), is named after Dr. Paul, as well as Dr. Elan Simckes. We would noy have our family without Dr. Paul (and Dr. Simckes. We wish everyone a healthy journey. If your path brings you to Dr. Paul, you will not be in better hands.

Awesome!
I was referred to this office after conceiving through IVF. Dr Paul and his NP's are all awesome as well as the rest of the office staff. Sometimes there is a wait but it's worth it. They test for anything that might be wrong and keep a close eye on you. You can also communicate through my chart. I was sad that the office only sees pregnant ladies because I like them so much.

Saved my son's life.
"If you have any complications there is no better doctor for you and your baby then Dr. Michael Paul. Trust him, he knows what he's doing!" my NICU nurse friend told me. I knew he had saved her and her babies lives and she was so right. Two doctors gave me no hope of ever making it to the delivery room. Dr. Paul took the time to clearly explained the issues of my pregnancy, the risks to myself, and to my son. He and his staff saw us through to the end with patience, knowledge, wisdom, and most of all they showed genuine concern. He does what is best for you and your baby, not what the latest fad in medicine or insurance may be at the time. He knows what he is doing! This is the reason he is top rated by not just his patients but also hospital staff and other doctors. Yet he's as humble as he can be! I recommend him to anyone who has issues with their pregnancy.

Love Dr Paul and his office. The first appointment was long (2-3) hours, but in talking with him and being his patient I understand why. If you want personal attention, knowledge that is what Dr Paul provides. And if you schedule your appointments earlier in the day, the delays are almost never an issue. I just make sure my calendar is clear for the day. Im probably more low key than most patients. I had a preventative cerclage placed and some other factors that made me high risk, I also had to switch midpregnancy dur to insurance changes and what not, Dr paul and them made the transition very easy. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. It was nice not having a different face each Dr visit. I highly recommend his care.

My second child would not be here without Dr Paul. He is beyond excellent at what he does! He is not a clock watcher. He takes his time and explains things well. He also is not pushy. I have never met a more competent, caring, or brilliant Doctor.

Dr. Paul is in my opinion the best. I can not think of a better MD. I work in healthcare so my expectations were pretty high coming in. I experienced a precious loss and had issues with preterm labor. Dr Paul made sure that I had 2 full term Pregnancies with No complications and no issues whatsoever. This man is blessed by God and I am soo happy that I met him. I could go on and on.

Dr. Paul is amazing! Yes, we had to wait for long periods in the waiting room and in the room however, is knowledge and care is worth the wait. I had a complication while delivering my twins and I truly owe it to Dr. Paul for Baby B coming out alive and healthy. Throughout the whole process he was knowledgeable, patient and kind. I would recommend him a million times over for anyone that was a high risk pregnancy.

Dr. Paul is great at what he does, saving babies and helping mommies do the best they can to get thru a hard pregnancy. He's the best if you are high risk. The office wait time is long but it's worth it and he spends a lot of time with you. I have been through two pregnancies with him. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Paul delivered my twins three years ago (I went into preterm labor at 21 weeks and with his help, sans cerclage, I carried them to 35 weeks) and I am seeing him again for a singleton. He is amazing and not only treats his patients well, but appears to be worshiped by all the staff at MoBap because of how he treats everyone else as well. He is one of the only doctors I've ever had that I trust implicitly. Will you wait for him beyond your apt time? Yes- but the best is worth the wait.

I went in for a regular ultrasound and cervix check where they found out I might miscarry my twins. My doctor couldn't do anything so she reccomended I go straight up to labor and delivery and have a cervical cerclage done by dr.paul. Dr.paul explained the risks of having a cerclage put in late..but there was no choice I had it done. With the help of God dr.paul saved my twins. I gave birth at 34 weeks to healthy twins. I cannot thank this man enough. He's an amazing Doctor.

The entire experience with Dr. Paul and his staff was awful. He was chronically late and never apologized. We actually were billed a longer appointment for the time that we had to wait in the room for him to show.....ridiculous. One appointment was rescheduled and we weren't informed till we arrived that we needed to wait around for 2 hours. Dr. Paul has a reputation as a stitch doctor and its true. He misdiagnosed a shortened cervix with an incompetent cervix which caused a C-Section.

Dr. Paul delivered all 3 of my children. I spent years trying to get pregnant and had lost twins at 19 weeks. I have seen doctors all over MO and Dr. Paul is the most intelligent, diligent, and conscientious I have ever met. He takes TIME with each patient and give them the best possible care he can. You will have to wait when you go to his office, but I never minded waiting an hour knowing I would get his full attention when he walked in the exam room.
