Dr. Michael Pippin, MD

I went to Dr. Pippin because I found a lump in my breast. He was extremely polite and thorough. Sent me to get a mammogram and ultrasound done a week later. The next day, results, he referred me to get a biopsy. The next week I was referred to a surgeon about my breast cancer. He was on top of it and got the ball rolling very quickly. Him and his staff have been extremely friendly and caring through this tough process, and I personally appreciate everything they have done for me. I would recommend him to anyone. Better care than I've ever gotten from anyone else.

The visit itself was okay, nothing great or horrible to comment on in particular. He sent me for an ultrasound and mammogram. I had those done and was told that my doctor would contact me with the results. After three weeks, I had heard nothing from Dr. Pippin's office, so I called in to follow-up. I was told by the woman answering the phone that she would look into it and get back with me. The next day, she called to say that they had my results, and Dr. Pippin would be calling me later next week with the results because he would be out of town for a few days. Again, I waited. I called again after another week. He still had not reviewed my results. It has now been 6 weeks since the tests with no call.

I'm 5'2"...when he started my pap exam he exclaimed, "Oh, you're small all everywhere. " I deemed this inappropriate and I was kind of freaked out by his statement.

Dr. Pippin performed my hysterectomy on May 1st. At my consult, both before and after, he took the time to answer all my questions. Never felt rushed at all. Highly recommend!!!

He was very rude and believed nothing was wrong with me. Nurses did not give me my orders before surgery.
