Dr. Michael Plachta, MD

Dr. Plachta was the best. He was great with handling my rare and complex medical needs. He took his time to listen, rule things out and find solutions. I trusted and respected him. I just found out he left Aspen Primary Care, I wish him the best.

Seems to push anti-depressants pretty hard as if he’s getting paid to do so. Pretty fresh out of school and doesn’t have much real patient / real world experience. $300 is the icing on the cake- that seems to be the main concern for the office & rude front desk staff - getting paid and turning patients in and out revolving door style. I can only say good things about nurse Monique- and hope she finds a better practice.

Dr. Plactha takes the time to listen to your concerns and is knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.

Comfortable Doctor.

I have been in Colorado 2 years now. I had a Dr before Dr Plachta but since seeing him, he listens to my issues, discusses options, is very attentive and polite. I would recommend Dr Plachta to anyone needing a new Physician.

Dr. Plachta was very attentive, caring, and considerate of my needs. He went above and beyond to deliver the right care for me. One of the best doctors visits I have ever had, I highly recomend this doctor.

I think Mike is very helpful and knowledgeable. He is very helpful and takes time to explain things.

I am a 90 year old female on oxygen I am extremely disappointed in my visit to Dr Plachta. I had been given an early appointment, having been in the hospital for 2 days due to heart failure. Normally I would request a later time. Because of the oxygen, heavy traffic and the fact that my daughter had to drive 25 miles in order to take me to my appointment, we were 8 min late. But, because I was late. I would have to come back another day. What kind of person treats a 90 yr. old that way?

First impression of Dr Plachta was not very positive. He was 45 min late for a 8am appointment. with no apology or concern for my time. He seemed in a hurry to order some lab work, excuse me and move on. He never once examined me, I sat fully clothed for this exam. Seriously. His serious lack of ability to have a two way conversation about my health is disconcerting. All in all buyer beware.

Really listens and addresses every concern. Very professional and pleasant.

He really did help me when I needed it most. He did his job vary well I will and do recommend him.

Dr. Plachta is attentitive and a great doctor. I’m glad I found him within the cshp group to see on a regular basis.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a family practice doctor. After our first visit he had called in the wrong scans, to the wrong doctor, and to the wrong facility. After trying to deal with him and insurance for the correct scans after a week it was still not resolved and he had not made the appropriate phone calls. He was very disorganized and clearly not willing to work with the patient. Also, after being called back into the room he was 53 minutes late for the appointment.

Dr. Plachta took the time to explain my problem and why it was happening. Thank you!

I watched my wife suffer as a direct result of Dr. Plachta's choice to ignore her phone calls for help or guidance. And in addition to his lack of patient care, he proceeded to bill us for "complex care" when he spent no more than 15 minutes with my wife. We are highly disgusted with him and his office in addition to the whole CSHP organization. They have done nothing to help us.

Did not seem to understand my needs. Wanted to change my medication dosing before doing any lab work. Unsure if I will go to him again.
