Dr. Michael Possin, MD

I had a detached retina that was not correctly diagnosed for months until I was blind in that eye. Dr. Possin was able restore much of the sight after three surgeries. He warned me that my other eye was also at risk and alerted me to the warning signs. When I began to have floaters in that eye, he saw me immediately and performed emergency surgery on a Friday night and thankfully my sight was restored. We can be very thankful to have such a highly skilled and professional eye surgeon in our community. He has truly blessed me and I very highly recommend him.

Dr. Possin treats my Mother for her macular degeneration, she was transferred to his service after Dr. Rosculet retired. Mom is very happy with the care she receives from him and the entire staff at NEW Retina. Today he examined my Dad for his retinal tear and needing a lens replacement. Dad had an unfortunate experience last week with another physician at the Oshkosh location, so I asked for a visit with Dr. Possin. Dr. Possin did not ridicule my Dad, he was so good with Dad and showed him on the eye model exactly what the problem was and how he was going to repair it. Laser was performed today in the office. Dad couldn't have ben more pleased with his experience today. And again, as always, the office staff and techs are so wonderful with the patients. Lens replacement will be next and Dad is not afraid anymore, thank you Dr. Possin.
