Dr. Michael Raciti, MD

Dr Raciti is a very professional and friendly doctor. He explains the procedures he will be doing very thoroughly, cataract surgery and lens replacement. I always wore contacts and glasses. After the surgery I don't need either to see near or far! It is wonderful! The surgery itself was amazing. Did not feel any pain or even discomfort. Dr. Raciti removed my two cataracts in two separate procedures two weeks apart. Both procedures were flawless. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Dr. Raciti. He is a great person and very skilled doctor. As a result, I have recommended him to five other people who have concerns regarding the health of their eyes.

Dr. Michael Raciti in West Allis/Wauwatosa, WI and his team were amazing! I had cataract surgery in both eyes and from the very first appointment, it was a wonderful experience. Extra time and care was provided by his staff when I had questions; and Dr. Raciti called me to address them. I wore glasses and/or contacts since I was 9 years old. With the new lenses, I am able to see and read better than ever before without even "cheaters".

Fantastic doctor and staff. I had cataracts (I’m “young” to have developed them) and when he told me it was possible to implant a lens (Panoptics) that would correct ALL my vision, I nearly cried. I’ve been nearsighted since age 9. I’ve always worn glasses. I can now see distances, computer, and fabulous reading — all without glasses or cheaters. The procedure is not at all painful. I felt nothing, and the low level of anesthesia is like a nice nap. I didn’t realize our natural lenses yellow with age. That’s fixed too. Everything is brighter and vivid! I would highly recommend!

Dr. Racitti and his staff are the most comforting,, kind team of health care professionals I have ever encountered in my lifetime. He corrected every issue related to my cataract removals, resulting in improved vision and quality. I only wish I could give him a ten star rating beyond the five star maximum in the chart above. I recommend Dr. Racitti to anyone.!

I saw Dr. Raciti after I scraped my eye with a tree branch doing yard work. His office got me in right away and were very kind and professional. Dr. Raciti was very thorough in treating my injury and reassured me that it would heal quickly (and it has!). Great experience all around. I am lucky that my eyes are actually very healthy but when I need an eye doctor I will not hesitate to go back to his office.

Dr Raciti has been a great eye doctor for me. He recently performed successful cataract surgeries for both eyes. Vision is greatly improved. I highly recommend Dr Raciti.

Dr Raciti performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and everything went perfect - from the first exam, the surgery center and the post op! My vision is amazing and the best part of this is he was as excited as I was!! Great bedside manner and a great experience!! Highly recommend him!! Although other people stated that wait times were long, the wait time comes with the type of practice this is. In ophthalomolgy exams take longer and please make sure you allow yourself the time that is needed to assess a great outcome with all of your questions answered!!

Good doctor clinically. Bad waiting time 1.30 hrs average. Need better office management and respect patients time. Half the day is lost in 2 mins appointment

I absolutely felt at ease the moment I met Dr. Raciti. He performed my cataract surgery and stopped by to see how I was doing before my surgery that he would be performing. He put me at ease the moment he walked into my cubicle with his impeccable bed side manner. He is a very caring Doctor and makes you feel that you are going to be alright. He is down to earth and very approachable, nothing phony about Dr. Raciti.

This doctor ignored my medical file and did nothing in the way of treatment. I found his manner to be hostile and combative.
