Trying to get him to return my call?
I had an endoscopy performed on Jan 31, 2025. Up to that point I was extremely satisfied with Dr. Rahmin, scheduling and his staff. After the procedure I was told there was inflammation in my stomach and Esophagus. Biopsy would be performed and they would call me. I received a call a few days later being told there was inflammation NO OTHER INFO. I tried to call Dr Rahim to discuss what he found because I am having issues that may pertain to this. I called 2X in a week. You reach an operator who could not reach his office. I left 2 messages for him to call me. I still have not gotten a call. I would have given him a 5 star rating but now I’m not sure. Hoping to hear from him to have my concerns addressed.

Horrible Experience
Telehealth
I was left with a covering Dr Herman as Dr. Rahmin and Dr. Chokhavatia were both leaving for vacation. This was the worst experience as I was sick, had a colonscopy and was left with a covering doctor who said I was not his patient and did not help me. Dr. Herman undermined Dr. Rahmin stating that he would never have performed a colonoscopy on me or sent out for stool samples when I wasn't feeling well. What kind of doctor leaves you sick.? And then charges you? They would not give me my results with the biopsies that were taken. I had to find a new doctor to get my inflammation under control as no one helped me in this facility. They did NOT send my new doctor my records. No one. I would not want this to happen to anyone!

Horrible
This office and doctor are not qualified to handle any sort of IBD. If you are getting a regular colonoscopy for aging reasons, fine. Horribly mismanaged my care and medication and I ended up in the hospital. He never looks at his chart before entering a room or calling you back. Lazy, rude, all around bad doctor. Stay away!

Dr. Rahmin is terrific!
Dr. Rahmin is an excellent doctor, who I have gone to for about 30 years and my elderly mother would come up from Maryland to see him, too. Yes, Dr. Rahmin is "accessible, knowledgeable and thorough," but he is also a very good person, who cares. As for complaints about the brief visits, call your congressmen or your private health insurance provider and complain to them, not to Dr. Rahmin. The insurance companies dictate your healthcare and put even more stress on our doctors, than is put on us. I recommend Dr. Rahmin to everyone, especially to the people I care about. Unfortunately, some of my friends can't go to Dr. Rahmin, because the insurance companies rule, thus telling you who your doctor can be. Please, call your congressmen and insurance companies to help free our good doctors to be doctors and for us to get the care we deserve.

1 hour wait for 5 minute “exam”. Short, fast conversation. Left the exam room quickly. When I asked for telehealth, his office said he will call on a particular day, but would not give a time , only a date. The call could come at any time! Come on! Experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful, but he is too fast.

Dr. Rahmin seems extremely busy. After waiting for an appointment for a couple of weeks he talked to me for about 4 minutes and any follow up questions I had concerning my health seemed to really bother him. He does not communicate well. I unfortunately can not recommend him.

He was a very good communicator, but horrible office management and processes. They make you wait for 45 minutes to then take you to an exam where you again wait for 15 minutes. Once you speak with the doctor and receive a brief exam, you then go back to the waiting room to wait to see another woman who schedules the procedure. No one has answers to insurance questions. After 1.5 hours, I left and made an appointment at a competing practice. Steer clear unless you have time to waste. I didn't.

He might be a good doctor but horrible office management and staff, they make you wait for 45 minutes then take you to another room to wait and the after 30 minutes later another room, the nurses give you the wrong prognosis and send the wrong medication to the pharmacy. Uncomfortable waiting room and no one seems to know anything. If you have a appointment be prepare to spend at least 3 to 4 hours in the office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rahmin for several years and cannot say enough positive things about him. He is very attentive to concerns and offers his honest opinion and various treatment options. He genuinely cares about his patients and follows up after visits. I think one of the most important relationships you can have is with your doctor and Dr. Rahmin is a professional you can trust. I would also like to make special mention of his amazing staff. They are great!

I went in and had an endoscopy. When I went to my visit to discuss the results he asked me why I was here. I was a bit confused I feel like the doctor should at least glance at the chart before he walks in. He then glanced over the chart missed a few things and the prescribed me a drug with out any real discussion on it.

I made an appointment weeks ago, six days before appt I get an email for visit paperwork and they want full prepayment (not the copay) for the office visit even though I have insurance. Called office 2x, left messages to inquire on policy, no one returned call. Cancelled appt. I can’t leave any stars because can’t rate him as a Dr.
