I was suffering from Cervical Radiculopathy, and thanks to the expertise of Dr. Rhee and his staff, I am now pain-free. Throughout the entire process—from the initial analysis to the surgery and post-operation care—they were incredibly helpful and supportive.

Dr. Rhee and his staff immediately diagnosed the issues that were causing pain and leg weakness. Surgery went well and resolved all of my issues. Communication was good and everyone answered all of my questions.

Explained everything. I knew what to expect. My surgery was a success. No more pain.

Dr. Rhee, Tracy & Alex are the best. Dr Rhee found the spots that was causing the pain, he is straight to the point .His support staff is also amassing.

The office staff is so friendly and Dr. Rhee, Tracy & Alex are top notch. They are very thorough with the examination, and surgery if required. I highly recommend them for any back problems. It is very unusual to find an office that everyone is so nice and helpful.

Had pain for 3 years did everything and think I took every pain meds.i was sent to Dr Rhee he looked at xray and told me what problem was .had surgery 2 weeks later.pain is gone only when I try to do too much. I've rarely had a doctor who's so willing to take the time to explain what the problem is and how he's going to treat it. He's so intelligent and well-read, and not just about medicine. Overall, he's just a very interesting, skilled, nice person!!

On 2/22/22, I had a L3/4, L4/5d Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion. It was an amazing experience to wake up and no longer have the leg pain that I have been living with for the past 16 years. His staff is very caring and do an excellent job of explaining their recommendations. They have a wonderful balance of communication styles between Dr. Rhee and his Nurse Practitioner, Tracy Wheeler. I found that Dr. Rhee was quick and to the point and Tracy is more laid back and gives you all the time that you need to ask your questions. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is considering spinal surgery.

I came to Dr. Rhee with some very complicated lower back issues and could barely walk. Dr. Rhee was very straightforward with his explanation of the need for two surgeries to install all the "hardware" I would need to fuse all of my lumbar vertebrae to correct my problem. I left his office with the understanding that I would need to follow his instructions and take an active role in my own recovery to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Rhee and his nurse practitioner saw me in my hospital room every day including weekends to check my status and answer my questions. I'm now three weeks out from my second surgery, am walking better than I have in months and on my way to a great recovery. Liberty and the Northland are fortunate to have a surgeon of Dr. Rhee's abilities so close to home.

Dr. Rhee did a fantastic job at explaining my health condition in great detail and going over my options making it a very personalized experience. Surgery went better than expected and I couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Rhee to family and friends.

I was terrified at the thought of a cranial fusion. Dr Rhee’s confidence made me much more comfortable with the idea. When I woke from my surgery the relief from so much pain was amazing. I highly recommend Dr Rhee and his staff!

I went to his office because of back pain. I had issues with L2/L3, L3/L4 and L4/L5. He explained what he could do for me but was guarded with the outcome of L4/L5. Surgery went very well, I was and still am pain free. I took no pain meds and still don't. He is an awesome physician.

I would certainly recommend Dr. Rhee to family or friends who might need to see a neurosurgeon. Dr. Rhee is extremely knowledgeable and made sure that I understand everything about my surgery. He answered all questions that I and my husband had in such a way that we understood exactly what to expect. Dr. Rhee made me feel completely at ease so that I knew I was in good hands.

I never got a visit with in 3 days of accepting the referral from my primary care physician they called my physician back and refused to see me because I am a medicaid patient and they had met their quota of medicaid patients. It is nice to know because I am low income and disabled I can go die in a ditch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had seen another surgeon for my back/hip/leg pain. I needed spinal fusion for L4 & 5. Recovery time of 6 months and start "weaning" off pain meds in about 3. I decided not to follow up. It got to the point I couldn't stand or walk for more than 5 minutes. My husbands co-worker had major back surgery and did great. I asked him who performed the surgery, Dr. Rhee and Tracy. He loved them and thought I should at least talk to them. I did........THANK GOD!!!! I had gotten so used to the pain that I didn't realize how bad it had become. Dr. Rhee and Tracy explained the procedure for spinal fusion, expected outcome and recovery. The day of surgery I was sitting and walking. The next morning I was going up stairs and was released. My back was tired but there was NO pain. Took a couple pain pills a day for the 1st week. It has been 3 months and I feel great. I totally recommend them!!!

I Highly recommend him, I had back surgery in Oct. at Liberty Hospital and after surgery I had discomfort but no pain in my legs. It was a 5 and half hour surgery they told me. He's a no nonsense Dr. and knows his business.

No one wants back surgery but if one has to have back surgery Dr Rhee “The Physician” you want to see. My surgery was 100% successful. His staff is exceptional and very professional. Never had to wait more that a few minutes to see the doctor. At my initial discussion to review my MRI not only did he explain in great detail how he was going handle my surgery and what to expect post operation he also pointed out an aneurysm the MRI revealed that I didn’t know I had leading to another very important but very necessary surgery. I highly recommend Dr Rhee and his team. He earned an A+ with me. Very pleased.

From the moment I met Dr. Rhee, I trusted him. He spent a lot of time going over my films with me. He showed me the cause of my pain and went over every option of how to fix it. He explained to me every complication that was possible because of my weight, my anatomy, my sacral slope. He talked through every roadblock to success and explained his decisions about why he would take one approach over another. I went it to TLIF with eyes wide open. It was obvious after my surgery that a lot of what he predicted to cause problems, actually did. The challenges that Dr. Rhee faced were outside of his control. I think a lot of other surgeons would have just closed me up and said, your bones are too hard and the risk is too great, but He didn't. He stuck with me and put me back together. Just like Tracy, he didn't give up on me. I would recommend Dr. Rhee to anyone experiencing an issue with their spine. The entire team is amazing.

I was referred to Advanced Spine and Brain Center by my PCP in September 2020. Dr. Rhee was my doctor. He is absolutely wonderful. One thing I appreciate about a doctor is they tell you how it is. No sugar coating things. Dr. Rhee is like this. He answered all my questions but most importantly he made sure I understood how serious my situation was. He also took the time to explain what to expect from surgery and what my after care would be like. I would highly recommend Dr. Rhee to my family and friends. He also has a wonderful office staff.
