I'm not so sure about these business practices
From the outset, I had a difficult time convincing Dr. Rie that the symptoms I was experiencing were important enough to discuss in our time together. I found myself more catering to the Doctor's desire for me to undergo tests and evaluations rather than working on the symptoms I was experiencing. One such test I took resulted in an emergency call from the doctor to retake the test, due to botched handling of the sample in the office. Now I've found myself (along with every other patient) removed from this doctor's rolls and required to enlist in a fee-based program just to see this doctor. Furthermore, my prescriptions are now held hostage as this office will not refill them unless I join the 'club' where I pay a side fee to an association. Now, I can choose to find another Doctor and reestablish a relationship or pay the toll to get my medications. Those are my choices after picking this Doctor. My advice to new patients is to make your choice and place your faith very carefully.

Dr. Rie is a fabulous doctor. He is very intelligent, does thorough assessments, and will take the time to explain what is going on with you medically in detail. He seems very aware of the current studies in healthcare. He was able to help me out way more effectively and quickly than my dermatologist with a skin condition.
