Wonderful doctor
Dr. Riggs is a wonderful doctor with MUCH knowledge! He performed a life saving endarterectomy on my mother, was on a team for her 360 fusion & will be operating soon on her for a third time -this time hernia- and each time he is thorough in the explanation prior to surgeries & after. He wasn’t to be rounding on the weekend she was in the hospital post surgery but he still stopped by to check on her. His staff -Sandy- is also amazing. She helped us with so much leading up to appointments and surgeries and is quite kind & nurturing person. I would 100% recommend Dr. Riggs 10 out of 10 times.

The doctor was friendly enough even though I went to him three times and he literally looked at me once in the entire process. Afterwords his rude, condescending, no account staff decided to send me to collections without ever even sending me a bill first. Avoid this complete joke of a doctors office like the plague even if you have it

On a Saturday at 5:30 pm,I had to have emergency surgery on an incarserated hernia. I was so bad off, without the surgery I wouldn't last 48 hrs. Because of other problems ,I was considered a high risk. Dr. Riggs explained things very well. My family & I knew what the dangers were & the degree of difficulty HE faced in doing this procedure.. My surgery lasted 3 1/2d hrs, & he fixed every thing. His explanations were clear, his bedside manner was great. His skills are great.

I would love to keep Dr. Michael O. Riggs as a part of my medical Care provider after I am healed! This Doctor sees all of his patients as People not just a pay check. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his oatients and their care. We need more Doctors like him!

Called to confirm my appointment on 3 different occasions. Each time the phone continued to ring without anyone ever picking. The day of the appointment, I waited 2 hours before leaving at 5:30 pm without ever being seen. No one offered and explanation or an apology. He may be an okay doctor, but he is obviously overwhelmed with his patient load. If his office can't even manage a consultation, how can they manage surgery, recovery, or billing/insurance issues?
